Great small loop for a winter coastal hike!

This trail I felt was difficult. It was all sand and has a couple very steep hills that were sand. The sand is beautiful.. white and fluffy but not fun to walk in! Nice view though.

Asked about the trailhead when we arrived and ranger said the mosquitos and ticks were really bad. He advised us not to do the hike with our kids.

Quiet, very nice easy hike with the note that the sand is thick. When you stop to empty your shoes the misquotes are a bit stiff. Well worth doing.

Love walking through the dunes. Did the loop at sunset, so pretty! Relatively easy, but walking on/sinking into the sand adds to the difficulty a bit.

Beautiful trail! Bring bug spray!

bring a trash bag!

DOGS ARE NOT ALLOWED. I read this app that states dogs are allowed on leash. They are not even allowed on the property, in the car.
Was unable to get past the gate. I would not trust that dogs are allowed on many of trails listed on this app.

Nice trail. Recently opened a new section that takes you out to Ipswich Bluffs.

Beautiful place, very quiet and peaceful

Would not reccomend. Appears to be a trail around the Ipswich power source/water purification plant. Hiked in about half a mile and turned around. Saw lots of creepy abandoned buildings and litter on the ground. Save yourself the trip.

Unfortunate that they block cars from going in if the parking at the beach is full. I walked 10 miles back and forth and still felt like I didn't get to see much. A lot of walking on pavement. Not worth it unless you can drive a little further out.
