easy short trail among woodsy trees and small sandy beach areas. Great views and summertime swims. light picnics any time. Dogs will come away happy, too.

Beautiful quick trail to a gorgeous view of the ocean.

Easy trail through woods until it opens up with panoramic views of the harbor. There are two arms: the south arm of the trail is more sheltered by trees. Watch for poison ivy in the undergrowth.

This was a fun hike with my young children, the views were amazing! The beaches were so gorgeous! We found lots of shells, crabs etc Unfortunately the trail was over grown and not marked well...we were worried about getting lost, we didn’t make the whole loop just had to turn back after veering off to the beach trail.

Absolutely breathtaking views from start to finish! Sandy, well-maintained and shady at most parts. Trail offers hidden, secluded beaches that are dog-friendly and open to the public. Only complaint is public parking is a bit scarce, but so worth it if you can find a spot.

Fun loop. Beautiful trails. Some fun ups and downs. There is poison Ivy lining the trails, not in the way though.

Parking is sparse. Wonderful vistas. Bring your bathing suit.

Some good views. A little bit sunnier than I would have liked. Good stuff though.

Fairly easy trail with a few ups and downs. Not to bad though. Nice stone walls throughout. Less than a half hour

Started around 11:00. It was a little foggy which made it look kind of neat. Ran into other hikers along the trail that were out enjoying the day also. Round trip should take about 20 minutes. I choose to do little side trips to take photos. So it took me twice as, but it was worth the extra time.

really nice open trails. lots to see. so many dragonflies and different plants growing.

great trail around the pond. wide enough for groups to hike four wide. awesome Holly and Dogwood groves. the peeper frogs were in full chorus.

Easy walk with beautiful scenery. Beach access at a few spots along the route. Very limited parking. Dog enjoyed the trip as well.

Great trail around the lake! Have a trail map with you due to a few intersecting trails along the route. BE AWARE OF TICS, we had 4 on or dog who stayed on the trail...

A lot of the woodlands along this trail is off limits, actually I think all of the woodlands are, going down to the water. This was a much more taxing run than the long river in Mashpee. The elevation was a bit extreme, as I went right at first and looped around. Mostly uphill in this direction but entertaining if you’re looking to push yourself to the edge of your 3.5-4.2 mi trail runs. This one is all about pace if you don’t want to end up stopping because of the hills around every corner. I enjoyed this run a lot, it’s my fourth run of the year and gave me the challenge I needed. 7/10.

On a sunny day this loop around the reservoir is unmatched. You follow a gravel road, so it’s tick free and easy walking. Moderate use in the summer not much in the winter. It’s gentle up-and-down. I wish there were more trails like it. One of my very favorites. in terrain, beauty and length.

Really nice, moderate walk around Long Pond, the source of Falmouth’s drinking water. Wide trails, pretty views of the pond. It’s hard to find longer hikes like this on the Upper Cape, so stumbling on this one was a very pleasant surprise.

Local gem

Took a walk out while on vacation. Nice little stroll with plenty of spots to stop for a dip on a hot day. The trail is easy enough to do in your beach footwear. the views are great and include ocean birds and sail boats. There are several smaller paths you can take that connect the loops 2 sides but no signage. Being a small peninsula you can't really get lost so if you want you can make the walk longer byzig zagging your way out.

Easy walk, not a very long trail- a good choice if you just want a good breath of fresh salty air. Good mixture of woods and water. Awesome scenery!!! Breathtaking!!!! Calming, serenity!

An easy trail with such an amazing view! I would recommend visiting The Knob to everyone.

Nice wide trail but it needs some signage especially if you have the pond on your left the entire time. If you have the pond on your right at all times, no signs are necessary.
