Great place to exercise and walk the dog. Great Pond views, love it when the lily pads are in bloom. If you live nearby definitely get the annual park pass.

First half typical New England park road with stunning pond views, second half amazing New England fields and farmland - would be a top notch foliage walk in the fall. Really enjoyed it. Easy terrain mostly packed gravel road.

Beautiful, dog friendly trails! One of my favorite local hikes

This is my favorite place. Trails are long enough and different from each other to keep me going.

Well marked trails, nice views, not many bugs. Easy hike , I would recommend it, definitely going back to check out other trails

The gate for the parking lot doesn’t open until 8 am. I was there before 7, so parked at a trailhead about a quarter mile further up the road, and picked up this route from there. This is a nice, but not spectacular, hike. It’s on the easier side of moderate—there are some rocks to scramble on the friendship trail, in particular. And it’s August, and thus a little buggy. The trail names on this map don’t correspond with those on the official trail map in all cases, which made finding a couple of the connecting trails a little weird.

The park has an interesting family history and you can take tours of the family mansion. Clean restrooms. $5 to park for MA residents, $10 for non-residents. They offer awesome social events such as full moon hikes at night.
