Nice, easy trail with a few hills involved. Not much access to the pond but i did find an area for the dogs to take a dip. Didn’t see many people on the trail. Bring bug spray!

I took a nice walk around the bog there and did see some interesting wildlife. Suggestion: bring a walking stick, mine came in handy defending myself from an aggressive dog. A lot of people walk dogs and unfortunately some have difficulties keeping them under control.

beautiful scenery. nice shade.

Great location, beautiful views of the bay, plymouth, and miles standish monument. Easy trails thru the field and woods leading to the water perfect for walking the dog, often gets muddy so wear the right shoes.

Dog shit and unleashed dogs everywhere

Started from the Miramar property as we were there doing a marriage encounter retreat. Headed down Bay Road to the main entrance and ran across the field then down to the ocean. The early morning sun was perfect, the mushy trails...not so much! Glad I brought 2 pairs of shoes! Very cool historically, this farm was cleared by some of the earliest settlers back in colonial times. Enjoy.

A nice little walk along the shoreline of Duxbury Beach Reservation. Snow Owls can sometimes be seen in the winter months. A very cool wooden bridge (0.4 miles long) gets you over to the beach. Enjoy!

Love this trail. Has a little bit of everything—meadow, beach, and forest. Muddy after rainy weather and irresponsible dog owners don’t bother to clean up their dog’s business.

Well marked and great for a couple of dogs

Irresponsible dog-owners let their dogs poop anywhere/everywhere so keep a vigilant eye for "landmines" wherever you step. The town supplies baggies for the poo in the parking lot, but even used baggies are left trail-side. The trail is often muddy after precipitation, but sturdy wooden bridges keep you dry for the most part. If you manage to avoid brown shoes, you'll be rewarded with nice meadow trails, forested nooks and a nice vista of Plymouth Bay and the mouth of the Jones River.

Easy walk with little elevation change. You can often see wildlife around the bogs, especially birds.

I took my dogs on a nice long walk for over two hours on a weekday morning and didn't run into a single other person the entire time. Very beautiful scenery and a great place to walk a dog.

Great hike with the family. Beautiful scenery especially in the fall. Bring your camera...you will want to take pictures. Might be a bit long for young children. Be sure to bring snack and drink for kids. Do take a pic of the trail map before you start.

Great place to take the dog for an easy walk. We stayed on the main trail but there are many small trails that we will explore in our future visits. Trail was very clean and well maintained.

A hidden gem of trails on the South Shore. The main trails are in great condition and offer a decent variety of terrain. The smaller trails are a lot of single track, curving throughout the forest. Great anytime of the year, even in the winter as the trails are usually packed down within a couple days of a snowstorm. Park either at Duxbury Town Hall or off Mayflower Street. If you want to run in the bogs, you can do that as well.

We hike this one regularly as its close to home. From the cranberry bog, to the pine grove, to the wildlife on the lake..it's a great 3.5 mile loop.
