A frequent trail for me! Nice distance and great views. Can be a little muddy if it’s just rained but not unavoidable. Starts with views of the pond and then goes into the woods a bit. Mostly shady. A fav of mine

This place has the potential to be beautiful if people with dogs took care of it. The ocean near by is gorgeous, the wildflower meadow is host to many species of birds and butterflies but the stench of dog crap wafting on the wind was enough to convince me to never come here again. There is a trash barrel at the entrance and a bag station, yet still, people don't pick up after their dogs. And I have a dog. Once again, the irresponsible ones are there to ruin it for the rest of us.

Great for kids, mixed signage on dogs. Definitely take the opportunities to go off trail a bit for views.

Meadows and ocean views pretty. But echoing others, lots of ill behaved dogs and obnoxious owners (I love dogs) lots of dog waste, the southern wooded section trails are overgrown and impossible to avoid “bushwhacking” contact w vegetation. Obvious it gets muddy but has been here dry lately....

Nice little hike in the nature

Hello! I had high hopes for this journey with my dog today. This preserve on the whole is pristine with so much of nature’s artwork in tact. Truly an epic area of woods & marsh. The drawback... a dizzying and poorly marked set of trails. Worn tree blazes, no signage, and so many offshoot trails it’s often difficult to know which trail is the real trail you want. Add to that at least 3 “Trail Closed” signs which forced me off Route. I’m a seasoned hiker with more than 3,000 miles under my belt. I navigated ok. But if you don’t know where you are going or your electronic device dies on you....finding your way out may be interesting. I began at the Mayflower St entrance to North Hill Marsh. I’m not giving up on this beautiful area and will try another entry point. Also, no maps at the entry.

this trail was okay but some of the trails were very narrow and there is even a huge tree down which prevented me from doing the full loop that I wanted to do and I had to turn around and find a cut through and just go back.

I was just here today and it was entirely covered in debris and fallen branches. Most of the Duxbury trails are not maintained. I would stay away.

Loved it except a lot of small trails off main loop and got a bit confusing on which way to go but we figured it out. The whole thing is basically a big loop I think anyways . Definitely will be back but it’s definitely buggy!!

little buggy a lot of good hills. Very good hike for young kids

Can you mountain bike here?

Took a nice walk with my puppy. Easy walk.

Half of the trails are muddy and or have a lot of sitting water. Short loop. Nice views of the water. A lot of dog walkers.
