Best views trails in Dover, Massachusetts

Parked at Noanet Woods parking area off Powisset Street and headed north toward Strawberry Hill. Continued around to the east toward Noanet Pond then to Cat Rock in Hale Reservation. Returned along the east side of the Pond down to Powisset Street then to the parking lot.Show more

Enter Noanet from the trailhead at the end of Cedar Hill Road. Work your way up to Noanet Peak then bushwack down and around back to the starting point.Show more

A nice double loop out-and-back trek to the St. Stephen's Priory property that is now owned by Boston College (BC). There are a few trail off-shoots that lead down to the Charles River too which makes this hike really special. The bulk of the hike is on the Trustees Peter's Reservation property but enters the BC property on the 2nd loop. There are some private property signs on route but none around the priory. Careful crossing the road.Show more

Parking off Powisset Street in the Noanet Woodlands parking area. There are several routes to get to Powisset Peak which is actually part of the adjacent Hale Reservation. This option has you going north then circumnavigating a small rise followed by Strawberry Hill. Wonderful colonial era rock walls are everywhere! Continue around Strawberry Hill, back to the south, then work your way up to the summit of Powisset Peak. A beautiful rock ledge awaits you with excellent views of the surrounding area, including Noanet Peak to the northwest. Find your way down to Powisset Street and back to the parking lot.
