A nice trail to walk and to take a swim. It is quite scenic but it is hard to find much wildlife due to the crowd. The visitor center is really nice and don't miss Henry David Thoreau's hut.

Nice easy walk, beautiful area. Was there on a Saturday and it wasn't too crowded. People were nice and courteous. It was fun to learn as we walked! Brought my pup with me but kept him on leash, he had fun exploring the trail as well. Will definitely be back again.

Lovely spot; open woodlands, beautiful marshes and ponds. Very few other people there on a warm June Saturday. Easy parking on Monument Street. Highly recommended!

Punkatasset is a great place to run or to have an easy hike. The loop itself has several trails branching off, though the main alternate is Estabrook Trail, which leads directly north into Carlisle, and ends on to Kibby Pl. It's surprisingly low traffic, and can be a good place to see snakes (lots of wetlands in here), birds, and other wildlife. Note that most of the small trails off of Estabrook Trail end into private property. There's not much parking from Monument Rd in Concord - just along the side of the street. From the Carlisle side, you can park on Kibby Pl without issue.

Very easy walk for a lazy walker. Great for biking and for the family great for kids to explore. Perfect easy trail for family.

Super trail!

Fabulous property co-owned by the Towns of Concord, Carlisle, and Harvard University. Although the Harvard property is privately owned, it's open to the public. Good thing as the history in this place is through the roof! Head up the Spruce Trail and check out the Saw Mill ruins then continue north to see the ruins of a colonial era lime kiln and a lime quarry. All this surrounded by glacial moraines, eskers, erratics, and drumlins. It's wonderful! Oh, and did I mention, Henry Thoreau is said to have wandered through these woods too!!!

Grew up just down the street from here. Now living on the West Coast. Back for a visit in summer 2017. Just like I remembered it. Beautiful scenery and wildlife.
When I was very young there was an otter enclosure in the water. Glad to see that's gone.

Love this very easy trail. There’s more than just the loop around the pond. One can expand the hike up into the hills above the pond. Be sure to check out the old cabin site.

I walked around Walden Pond, last night, in the rain. It was a transcendent experience. If you have not already, please read Walden by Henry David Thoreau, before visiting this pond.

Nice, easy walk around Walden Pond, great views of the water.

wicked coooool

Nice spot but way too crowded. Have to pay to park unless you have a DCR pass. It’s very pretty and historical but it’s like walking around on a busy street in Boston . I was here on Friday. It must be a zoo on the weekend

Living just a couple miles away in Lincoln many years ago, my family and I often took advantage of our proximity to Minute Man NHP and the many historical sites. I always enjoyed learning about the Revolutionary War while exploring this beautiful area.

Easy walk on the beach or by dirt path around the pond. Path isn't very wide at times.

This park has a beautiful easy trail fro running, walking or just nature sightseeing. It's never busy except for the day runners from Harvard or Boston College on the weekends. Today several of the historical homes were open to the public. Beautiful park. Dogs are allowed but please pick up after them. No trash barrels so bring back your trash home take care of our national treasures.

Walden Pond is a fun little hike for all ages and abilities, I hiked this trail with my parents when I was 6 years old and I still hike it now. Hiking the loop and then changing into a swim suit and enjoying the water makes for a good day.

I so enjoyed my historic walk, what a joy to my heart to see and experience this amazing trail.

Awesome trail, but is usually pretty busy during the summer months. Walden is truly iconic, don't forget to take a dip while you're there!

Beautiful, low humidity, bright blue sky kind of day. Plenty of folks enjoying the day. Saw quite a few nice birds; orioles and scarlet tanagers!

Fence around the loop unless you want to walk down on the beach. Like everywhere else in MA, it costs money to park. Given the other stuff that's nearby, I wouldn't go back.

Great trail for an easy and scenic run.

Excellent trail to walk (wish we had bikes with us!) Very well kept with interesting markers and signs along the trail to read. We visited in October so the leaves were beautiful colors!

I love biking on this trail, especially around the farmer's fields.
