One of my favorite trails in the area. Varied terrain and scenery. My GPS clocked it as at 6.5 miles.

This is a nice hike. It was a little muddy today but the trail runs through some beautiful hilly forests as well as along the Patapsco. Bring your camera!

a Little muddy ,also found deer hair on the trail and a deer carcass in the field. saw some horse tracts on the trail so be mindful that hunters are aloud to hunt here and horse back riding is a possibility

Great trail. Trail/hiking shoes a must as you pass through a few muddy areas.

Good, and moderate hike. Parking easily located across the bridge from the trail head next to an inn. please remember to park 7.5 feet from train tracks to avoid getting towed.

Great trail!

Great trail! Lots of mountain bikers, but not too heavily trafficked. Gorgeous woods and great views of the river. If you can park across the street from the Woodstock and then walk across the bridge to the trailhead from there.

Great afternoon walk. Sadly loads of invasive species everywhere. Good with dogs. Found a wild persimmon tree!

Don’t try to park at the trailhead. It’s very dangerous. Cross the bridge and park across the street from the Woodstock inn. Adds about 1/4 mile to your hike. The trail is well maintained but poorly marked. No hikers, but tons of mountain bikers. Pretty views of the river.
