Absolute stunning and flowy and got some cool features great for all skills.

This relaxing 8 mile loop look me around 4 hours to complete (snack break included). The hike itself had some slight includes and declines but remained pretty easy throughout! I recommend taking it clockwise and watching out for mountain bikers on the path (they swoop by quick!!). Overall would recommend and go again myself!

Great trail. It’s had a few muddy spots, but a lot of clearings with great views, lots of resting places and is very secluded while being within yelling distance from the main roads. The trail is perfectly marked by the blue dots on trees. This trail also intersects the red trail, yellow trail, green trail, and the loop trail towards the end.

Really nice trail loop! It was a little more than 8 miles and took us 4 hours exactly (with a short lunch break)! It wasn’t overtly difficult, but the length compensated for the lack of steep inclines. There were some really nice meadow-like space. You can here the road sometimes, and there were some muddy spots, but overall, really happy with the experience! Would recommend!!

Not bad overall. Overlook on the end of the green trail not too great in the summer months.

I wanted to try this trail out for the first time because it’s the closest trail to me that I haven’t been to yet. It’s much better than I was expecting, pretty flowy and good for all types of riders. I went clockwise which gave me a lot more climbs but that’s what I was looking for, so if you want more of a “downhill” experience go counterclockwise. The trail was a bit muddy a couple of days after some rain but nothing too bad.

Took my wife and two kids on a new adventure today. We had a great time ran into other people on the trail and everyone was neighborly. The trails were a bit muddy from the previous days rain. The trials are moderate nothing to hard for our 6 and 9 year old. Had to walk some areas due to roots or incline. We like the constant cover of the forest to shield you from the sun. I lost my vest that had my I phone 8 and wallet. We were taking a break and a guy asked if we dropped anything amazingly enough someone left it hanging on a post about a mile back. We will definitely be back. Kids should fall asleep easily tonight.

This trail is currently closed for renovation so I had to come up with an alternative course.

Great mini trek with lots of natural sounds from several birds and the mini streams.

Nice novice mountain bike trail

Great hike today, muddy in sections but manageable. Did 8.5 miles, left no ground untouched. Enjoy photos!

Nice considering the big thunderstorms day before. Spring should bring leaf and flower coverage soon.

The trail was too scary for my ex-wife to ride her mountain bike. It was replete with very steep dirt hills and valleys and a lot of dangerous sharp turns. She has offered to return and walk the trail with me instead of riding in the immediate future.

Trail has been closed bc of COVID-19

Not a bad Easy loop hike so close to DC. A bit muddy but pretty quiet except for faint sound of cars in distance.

Fantastic trail to run. I went clockwise and there seemed to be more downward parts than up which worked out for my run. Beautiful overall, though there was construction going on which took away a bit from the quiet peacefulness that the trail would have been.

Not bad but nothing special. The Blue/Red/Yellow trail was scenic but really muddy (still Winter). Pay attention to the AllTrails map or else you won't know where to go in the field. Probably would be better in Spring and Summer.

This is both a beautiful and historic trail. It's the site of the first African American airfield. Back from the days of segregation. This is not only rich history, but an absolutely beautiful trail in a gorgeous forest. You can see artifacts from the airfield on your hike. Part of the trail is temporarily closed but it’s still well worth it. The trail is very well marked and beautifully maintained.
