1-6, The park is beautiful and worth a visit! This trail recording was a very random “loop.” Needed to consult to app on a few sections. Took us a little under 2 hours

Beautiful Beautiful Place. The power of the water is amazing. Multiple places for nice pictures.

I agree with the other reviews that this should be considered moderate. Had some difficulty finding the trailhead, but it was a great hike otherwise.

A little muddy but very enjoyable. All the dogs we saw were on leashes, which I appreciated.

Great trail, not as crowded as other parts of the park. Parking is limited, but seemed sufficient for the morning crowd. Mainline trail is a nice easy walk along the river with some opportunities to scramble up some rock cliffs. The ridge loop is more challenging but offers some fantastic views. Be sure to check out the Camel Den "cave" near Daniels rd!

I’ve never seen the falls with this amount of water! It was a powerful display of nature!

Took two kids and a dog, had a great time. Muddy after rain, can’t wait for summer.

Nice to experience but would only recommend for walking. This was listed as a road biking destination but even with a young child this is way too abbreviated on a bike. If you are in the area it would make for a nice level stroll along the creek.

Visit here from Georgia twice a year and always walk this. It is pretty, often quiet and good for reflection!

Hiked this on a near 50-degree day in Dec. Very calm and pleasant hike, but felt somewhat monotonous at this time of year. There were a number of spots with windy creeks, open fields, and fallen trees, but not many varied views otherwise. We saw a deer too, that was cool. But mostly lots of trees with no leaves at this time of year and the ground blanketed with dead leaves. Pretty brown everywhere. Ok for a while, but I was ready to stop by mile 6. There was nowhere to really stop and eat a snack too; we ate our apples while walking. It took us ~4 hours. Everyone else along the trail were mountain bikers and there was one group of horseback riders. We always stepped aside and they were very appreciative of it.

Most trails were still soaked with water

Great trial. Probably would rate this moderate instead of easy. With all the leaves on the trial. It’s hard to see all the rocks on the trial.

Nice trail, heavy rains left a stream to cross. Lots of rocks to walk on.

We just missed the fall colors but it was soon after a rain so the waterfalls were great. My mom is 69 and not in good physical shape but she was able to complete the 0.9 mile hike.

Lovely variety but note that the entrance is closed and you have to use a different one. Also, the recorded trail in AllTrails is inaccurate. There are big signs saying, “Not a Trail.”

Short but lovely! Took the family here for a sort hike. It was busy but worth it. The falls were great and running full from all the rain. Definitely worth the stop!

Beautiful park and scenery!

This is a popular trail but it’s worth it!

A great family hiking trail!

Overcast-ed skies and the breeze make a hike in the meadows prefect. - Although I bike too, I am glad no bikes are allowed in this all natural area. - You have a mixed environment of Woods, Meadows and a Stream. - Do to a lack of shade in many sections, I never come here in the summer. I love all the different butterflies along the meadow trails of green grass. I always park on the lot at Trotter Rd. but space is limited.

Decided to walk Quiet Waters Park trail today, Columbus Day 2018. I'm extremely happy I did this trail. It has long stretches of shaded trail, and breathtaking views of the South River and Chesapeake Bay. I can't wait to bring the family back, so we can experience the trail together.

Plenty of nature, well maintained

Nice trail. Looped Lake Elkhorn then picked up the Patuxent Branch trail toward Savage. Marked well. Parked and then walked around Historic Savage Mill. Pretty views of the river

Very nice trail. My dogs loved smelling everything. I would give 5 stars but some of the trail was uneven and I kept twisting my ankle. Everyone we passed was friendly and the other dog parents controlled their pets.

I was a little skeptical because it was such a popular trail and I was thinking it.kight be a let down... and I proven wrong. it's a great walk/hike with absolutely gorgeous scenery. you're only hurting yourself of you don't go!

I rode this trail on Saturday 9/15. There are some leaves down already and they were wet. In fact, it was quite muddy out there but I enjoyed it. One fallen tree blocking the trail around mile 4 (clockwise). Overall conditions good but muddy.

This is a great little walk. Only thing keeping it from being a 5 star is how heavily trafficked it is. Still lovely for an evening walk

Nice and easy trail. clockwise is much more challenging. W more climbs. Watch out for self centered arrogant hikers who think standing in the middle of the trail is ok

Great trail the only drawback is sharing the trail with mountain bike riders. Nearly twisted my knee trying to get out if the way of a mountain biker. Had to step off the trail quite a few times that day for riders. Other than that great hike. Bring water you will need it.
