Super easy trail - good for all ages and pups.

Great easy trail with access to the water. Northside parking lot was less full than Southside. It was an easy, narrow hike with some spots paved. It rained yesterday so some spots were a little muddy but nothing you couldn’t walk around. We stopped at the trailhead to jump in the water.

great trail!. not too busy. Just bring your hiking shoes if you want to keep your feet dry.

It is a fantastic trail with changes in elevation to get your heart pumping. Most of the trails can be easily navigated, but at multiple points in the trail it is overgrown and washed out. Still worth enjoying, don’t get frustrated if you have to turn around.

LITTLE GUNPOWDER - Little Gunpowder trail is the white trail - trail begins at regular parking lot, NOT overflow. begin the trail at the small red bridge, right past the signage for the maps. Or on the gravel path and go left to the dirt trail at the first opportunity  - terrain is flat with inclines. no steep areas - rocky or lots of tree roots in certain spots. Large muddy spots  - wide path. Able to stay social distanced - not stroller friendly  - first half of loop is along the water. Second half is not   - 2 stream crossings. one is tiny. the other is up to 8 footsteps across - about halfway through, the trail splits. When you see the blue trail, veer right onto it - at overflow parking lot, across small bridge, you will see an old house with no roof- makes for some cool photos! - 1.5 hours to complete trail  - 2 parking lots across from each other

Nice level trail, easy for kids. A bit narrow. Don’t trust Google Maps to find the trailhead!

Fun trail along the river. Good swimming area about half way. one stream crossing over a long log or rocks. Be careful. Lost one star for the people who left a big pile of trash at the swimming area. Parking was across the highway and very crowded. Get there early.

Not too bad, narrow and wet in places. Nice view of the river but not well marked on the upper loop. Does not connect to any other trail. A few mountain bikers.

It was a fun hike. I used my jogging stroller but it was not easy with the roots and rocks. The trails weren’t easily marked and we went off course a couple of times. I used the all trails map to see where we deviated. Other than that it was pretty and an easy to moderate hike.

Very easy trail. The Little Gunpowder Trail is flat. It was only muddy in a few spots. There is a an incline on the Waterfalls, but it wasn’t too hard. Great trail for bikers and hikers.

Nice short easy trail with some really nice views of the river and then a pretty nice small overlook area. You really have to look for the start of the orange trail, it is marked with a sign that says Jesse's Trail, which my oldest pointed out he didn't think was right because it is painted in red. However if you turn to the left away from the bridge you will see it. The bike riders were nice and let you know they are coming without just rushing up on you, which is really nice to do since I have dealt with other trails that they almost just run you over on. Overall I would come back here again for a quick hike.

This is a great trail.. starts out in a field, hikes up and down a small hill and ends up running along the river. Very pretty, but quite muddy in places.

A tad bit long for a novice hiker. Such as children or anyone out of shape haha. However, this was an awesome hike and well worth the view at the quarry! Highly recommend

didn't start exactly at Jerusalem Mill. live nearby and used a neighborhood access. Still, it's a fun trail to walk.

Couldn’t finish this trail as I was unable to cross a stream unless I wanted to get wet. Definitely fun!

Nice little hike. Had dog plus 10 and 7 year olds with us and it was a great trail for all of us. Took the blue trail which just kind of disappeared so we merged to the white trail to loop back. Trail was clear and dry. Parking lot by the mill was packed but trail wasn't crowded.
