A lovely gravel trail that’s perfect for walking, running, or biking. Very flat and wide trail, definitely should be rated easy instead of moderate. Also if you’d like more views of the water I’d recommended going right when you get to the split in the trail.

This was a great trail for me and my puppy! I did my best to follow the topographic map but it would have been helpful to know the color trails. I believe these are the trails you should follow: Park at the mill on Stafford road. Walk up the hill and take the purple historic walking trail. You will come to a juncture. Take the left trail. You will come to another juncture where a white trail is labeled to the right. Take the white trail. You will come out of the woods to a beautiful field and see 2 narrow roads. Cross over them and you will see a white sign pointing through the field to the left. Next you will come to the red trail with an option to turn left or right. Turn left! This is where I went wrong... right will bring you down to Stafford road at the lapidum boat ramp. Stay in the ridge and the red trail will bring you back to the mill!

I def was not on the Susquehanna Loop for the majority of my hike. I want to go back and try again, follow the red blazes for the Susquehanna Loop trail. I followed orange and blue, which were great trails as well, but not the trail I was looking for.

Nice easy trail, wonderful views, will be going back to this one for sure....kids loved it.

Nice trail, very flat and wide with gravel. Great path for a jogger stroller and kids.

Nice hike, wet parts due to the recent snow but dog loved it! Would go again

This trail is wonderful for bird watching and views of the water. The main oath offers numerous water access points where you can spot herons, hawks, and eagles. Black vultures have become quite populated in this area and their numbers can be overwhelming!

Great trail from dam parking lot to Stafford, very flat and wide along the river. A nice smaller trail branches off down to the train bridge. Great mountain biking. I’m looking forward to exploring the rest of the trails.

Great hike, but not moderate. It’s easy as can be.

Great fall day of hiking on our way to the camp area.

I'd say this is easy not moderate. User footwear of choice seems to be sneakers. Trail is wide, flat, topped with gravel. Parking is across the bridge on the other side of the road where folks are putting into the water.

Wide, multi purpose trail that offers trekkers, great scenery and sights of the Susquehanna River.

absolutely breathtaking view when the trail comes out of the forest into the open hilly fields! Hay bales and sunshine. So pretty. We aren't experienced hikers, and although there were some steep parts of this trail we made it through. Well worth it.

lots of trails to make the hike as long as you like.

So many different habitats!

One of the better trails I've done at this park. Great site seeing! Had a BLAST!

Great challenge!

It was a rainy trek today but still a great a walk- saw 6 bald eagles today.

Good fall views of the river. some elevation changes. Clear and easy trail to run.

Great scenery. Nice flat and fast trail to run. Parking is not the best but manageable. I'll be going regularly.

great scenery to go along with a challenging ride. Along the Greenway trail was a peaceful fun adventure taking you up the river. Moving on to some of the parks inner trail is where it got difficult! Amazing place, will definitely be back soon!

Very easy trail to walk with the possibility of seeing bald eagles along the way. You can extend your hike by taking some of the trails within the Susquehanna State Park (southern end of the trail) or you can hike north on the Mason Dixon Trail.

I walked the Red Trail. Great trail for those whole like to walk up and down several hills. Beautiful and peaceful walk. I plan to walk this trail again in the winter when the trees are bare in order to see the river down below. Trees block the view during the summer months.

Great Trail. Beautiful Scenery
