Saw some kids collecting garbage by the river... very impressive... and the the parents... bless your heart!

Beautiful well maintained trail with lovely lake views and birds. Mostly flat and shaded. A little crowded. Most people wearing masks. Suggest early am or evening to avoid crowds.

This was a good quick hike with the kids (9 and 7 years old). Easy terrain and the right distance.

Great trail for beginners. I took my mom here early on Saturday morning and it took us 1.5 hrs to complete the loop. Really enjoyed the beautiful view. Perfect breeze and shades. Charge was $3/per person. Would definitely revisit in the fall when the leaves changes color. Some spots were muddy probably due to the rain from Friday but all in all enjoyable. Family friendly but go early before it gets crowded.

Excellent trail that, even on Memorial Day weekend, was lightly trafficked. Easy to navigate. Lots of ferns and wild rose.

Nice maintained trail!

It was a great little hike for my two-year-old on his strider bike. It wasn’t muddy at all because it hasn’t rained in 10 days. The grass is starting to get pretty overgrown in sections, so I was scared of getting ticks

Pleasant trail with almost nobody on it. I only passed 2 joggers and 2 pairs of hikers. Minimal road noise. Would definitely do it again. Note that Mink Hollow Trail isn't a loop trail, this route is a combo of Mink Hollow, Clopper Lake, and Long Draught trails, so pay attention to blazes and the map. There is a fee to enter the park on weekends- $3 for MD plates, $5 for out of state.

Unfortunately we couldn’t visit this park, it was closed due to the pandemic . Officers were blocking the entrance. We passed by at 230pm and cars were leaving but they weren’t letting anyone in so maybe they just closed early.

Nice trail - not sure why it is considered moderate - it’s not too bad - a little muddy in places - I did this in the reverse direction

Beautiful, easy hike, just be careful where you walk because there are lots of tree roots everywhere. The vista is gorgeous, and I imagine it’s even prettier in fall. Lots of social distancing going on; maybe 30 people out on a quarantine weekday. Limited parking by the Kingfisher Lookout but more available by the playground. Great place for turtle watching.

Nice, easy, family-friendly trail.

Great trail for getting back into longer hikes. Trails were well marked. A bit more crowded than expected/would have liked

This is part of the Seneca Creek Greenway Trail (SCGT) while eventually go from the Potomac and Patuxent Rivers. This is one section of the larger trail and it goes from the beginning of the parking lot at the visitor center at Seneca Creek SP down to the river and makes a turn to the right. The trail is basically between the Seneca Creek and Game Preserve Rd. This part ends at Fredrick Rd (NC 355) You can turn around or go further.

Great trail. Well kept. Decently trafficked as it became later into the afternoon. Would definitely recommend though.

Very nice trail, the lake is calm and we saw a lot of turtles. Not too crowded and trail kept up well.

First hike in Maryland and I loved it! Pretty simple hike around the lake while the sun set. Not overly crowded with people; even saw deer on the trail!

Easy, pretty trail. Nice lake.
