Great hike! Harder than I was expecting but still completely manageable for adults kids and dogs.

Love the elevation changes and the side trails to the vistas. Other than the rocky trail, it's a fairly easy hike.

The majority of this trail is easy going but fairly rocky. There is a pretty steep incline and decline to and from the summit. I found it challenging but worth it. It gets crowded as well starting around 11am.

Quick and flat. Bikes on the trail but they aren’t crazy like the W&OD. More of a walking trail than a hike, but still beautiful to be in the woods. Also, the burgers at White’s Ferry Grill are really good!

This was the second time I was at sugarloaf with a group of friends. We had a lovely hike. There are standard signs entire the trail but it’s always good to have a map with you. We started from the West view parking lot and took the blue trail. The only thing is at the beginning it might be a bit confusing since you don’t see blue trail signs but you can simply follow the green signs until you get to the blue trail. The whole blue trail loop took us almost 4 hours with a couple of short breaks. I’d say this is a good trail if you are going to hike with a group and enjoy your time and i rate it as an easy-moderate hike personally. Also dog friendly and I saw even dogs off leash.

Great views. Meh hike.

At first alltrails didn’t want to record and follow trail. But it soon caught up. Regardless had paper map which is good anyways. If you want a secluded trail this is not for you. A lot of people. Hvta pay attention to trail because it runs into many trials. Will say at white rock was a beautiful sight. Might have ask other neighbors to quiet down a little tho. If you want peace and quiet to enjoy the nature of it all.

fall color!

Be careful in your planning. This is NOT. a beginner hike. Beautiful!!!! Fun!!! Trail will be slipper if rain is forecasted.

The blue trail is not for beginners. It is an amazing trail with great views.

We planned a shorter route, but missed the turn (we did most of the boys tail, and we should have stayed on the white)

great hike .. a little rocky and overgrown in areas

Not well marked. Went in circles and had a hard time getting out.

Easy quick hike up sugarloaf mountain from the East View Parking lot.. Very kid and pet friendly. A few steep inclines and rocky steep descents, but mostly pretty simple quick hike. Great view at top. Our time of about 1 hour with an 8 and 11 year old includes plenty of stops to pet other hikers’ dogs and take in the view at the top.

Good tail for a day hike. Not very challenging, but fun.

Good views! We started on the orange trail for about .5 miles and then it randomly turned into blue for the rest of it making it hard and kind of annoying to follow. Having the map on here was super helpful!

Enjoyed this trail. Markings on the trails were good. A decent amount of elevation changes. Wear decent trail shoes since there are a lot of rocky portions throughout the hike. The purple trail was fairly remote with very little traffic. That part of the trail was a bit overgrown since it doesn’t look like a lot of hikers do that part of the hike.
