Trail wasn’t easily marked in the beginning, and be careful at high tide as a short portion goes across parts of beach.. It’s well maintained unless you venture off and follow the coast, lots of trash. All in all it’s a nice quick hike. (Remember to bring bug spray .. the mosquitos are no joke)

The trails aren't maintained very well. The grass was tall. The most annoying thing was the signs & lack of maps! I snapped a picture of one "Y". It literally had the same name on both roads and no arrows or direction indication. The shoreline is very pretty. You'll come across a few tables scattered here and there. You can bring your dog. It's free during the week. Bottom line, it was an okay area. The views & wildlife saved it.

I love that the foot path is not always clearly marked and manicured, makes for an adventurous walk. However, if you remember to look up, the trees are marked every 100 yards or so with the appropriate path color. The Kingfisher Trail to Deep Woods Trail is mostly flat with a few mild grades. The path is unpaved throughout, including a variety of terrain—mud, dirt, grass, holly leaves, tree roots, and a bit of gravel. The fairly dense vegetation offers seclusion, beauty, and opens to a small beach. Light foot traffic in the morning included 5 fellow pedestrians with at least one dog each, some on leash, some off (that’s the reality despite park rules to have dogs on leash). The park also offers a port a potty, picnic table, trash can, and trail maps near the main parking lot. Look forward to doing the entire trail in the future.

Amazing views!

Easy trail to navigate, but could be better marked. As another reviewer said, it’s a guessing game as to where to start.

Once you are on the trail it isn’t bad but they aren’t marked and it’s a guessing game to figure out where to start for this trail. Take your bug spray!!! I woke up today with over 50 mosquito bite.

Great hike! The beaches are beautiful. Beware some inappropriate activities are going on in the cabin off of grassy way. Stick to the trails.

This is a well used park for unleashed dogs, teen drinking and day campers. I have been walking this park since it opened and I live very close to it. Morning is the best time to walk before the work wakes up. Make sure you walk all of the trails not just the outer loop. This is a flat land park and very very easy to walk. Everything is very well marked, so you can't get lost.

Good day to be out exploring. easy trail to navigate through.

This was a great hike for my 3 and 5 year old. The beaches were beautiful and perfect for our dog as well! There is a nice shortcut back to the parking area from the beach for those who come with littles as we did, but we will definitely be back to hike the whole perimeter without them :)
