We combined Wonderland and Ship Harbor by climbing on the shore/rocks from one to the other. The trail is super easy (maybe even a bit boring) but the shore is super fun and beautiful. Especially with kids its a lot of fun.

Step and nice uphill on steps, down has views and is interesting. The summit has no views but a good lookout nearby. Not difficult but step ascent.
Don't wonder about the side track in the recording, its most likely an error. Reduce the altitude accordant to get to the accurate number.

Fantastic diverse trail...easy, but not too easy. A few rocks and a section of roots. The view of the harbor and then out to the bay is breathtaking!

Very short and easy hike, not very crowded.

Drove unpaved road to Gilley Field parking area and hiked up Razorback. Steep climb at times but especially fun once you got to the part with all the boulders. Heights/drop offs not too scary! Beautiful views both to the north and south. Came back down Great Notch which was pleasant and easy walk through the woods. Super quiet and peaceful trail even in peak season.

Great trail to begin the week. Amazing views of the water.

I live on MDI and have made it my goal to hike every mountain; so far, this has been my favorite as it is challenging but not too strenuous. Since it’s an out of the way spot, there aren’t many other hikers. The views are amazing! If you hike at the right time you will also get a chance to snack on an abundance of blueberries. I love the fact that they have even made a spot at the Bernard mountain overlook to leave messages. I will definitely hike this again soon!

Great trail, lots of blueberries in July and beautiful views the whole way.

Beautiful trail with sites that rival the busier areas of the park.

I loved this trail. It offers so much to see, easy figure 8 trail that all could do. The views by the water are amazing. You can climb rocks by the water or just sit and take in the views. This was a wonderful surprise after the disappointing lighthouse.

This rating is solely based off of the hike continuing on to Valley Peak trail. After a good rain, it is quite slick! Definitely be careful, and wear good shoes. Keep an eye out for the blue markers to keep you on trail.

Beautiful trail with many photo opportunities. The harbor at the end has a great rock shelf & cold water for dipping your feet before going back to your car.

Easy trail that takes you to a lovely spot on the rocks along the coast to enjoy the views. Take a lunch and relax on the rocks! The dog really enjoyed the rocks!

Beautiful stroll even in ugly weather like I had. Would definitely recommend it.. There are some rough uneven areas that could be tough for some.

The hike in the beginning up the ledge trail is roots and rocks and a bit steep. However once it levels off there are wooden planks, forest floors, and rock face scrambles. The most amazing views can be seen once you approach the Valley Peak trail. Had a snack overlooking the Sound and other area mountains. This trail was a bit slippery as it rained the night before. My new favorite hike on the quiet side of the park.

Great hike! We enjoyed it and so did our dog!

Rocky trail with lots of uneven ground. Tough on the knees! The peak of St. Sauveur isn’t particularly breathtaking, but once you start walking along Valley Peak it’s pretty much an incredible view the whole stretch. The little detour for the waterfall is totally worth it, you can easily climb next to or to the top of it and sit in the shade to enjoy the view. We cheated and walked back down Man O’ War, which is a flat path (old access road?). All in all a pleasant hike through woods, steady incline, and beautiful views.

Nice easy walk. During low tide, it can kinda stink when you get near the middle of the figure 8.

Loved this trail. Mostly pretty easy with just a bit if challenge at the beginning. The ocean views at the top are gorgeous. Was a great hike and one if my favs.

Super easy trail, probably perfect for trail running. Amazing views. Doable for any skill level.

Can't say enough about this little trail! only down side was we did this first and then nothing could compare to the beauty, peace and diversity. Cliffs, forest, stone paths, rocky beach, raised wood paths and amazing views! We walked down on to the stone beach and when we went back to the main trail we walked into a deer quite literally. There was no one there. (it was a little after 1:30pm on a Friday) I could have stayed there all day and can't wait to go back. fyi great short trail for kids but would recommend keeping any eye on them near the cliffs. No kids? No problem! This trail can go from easy to moderate if you decide climb up and down the granite cliffs like we did. In short it could take you 45 min or from 1:30 to 4:00 if you want to climb around and explore... and you should definitely explore!

easy trail with the amazing views.

Lost the blaze about halfway up St Sauveur but with the map had no problem finding it! The Valley loop really is what makes this hike special-- awesome views of the bay!!

Great trails to pick from. Recommend going up West Ledge Trail from Western Mountain Road up to Bernard Mountain Trail, the views were spectacular. Happy hiking!

Great hike even for my wife who has balance problems and must use hiking poles. Some rock steps were a bit tricky. Most beautiful views yet in the park.
