This short walk through dense woods ends at a hidden pond allowing for quiet reflection and the hills in the background reflect on the pond. A small bench awaits for all who make the trip.

Loved the trail. Perfect for a short walk if you only have an hour or two. We took the Bob Chase trail up and then the loop back. Next time will also take the South Face trail but we were short on time. Nice, gradual ascent easy on the knees and nice views in several spots of the mountains and lakes. We will be back!

so many families

short, easy, good for the dog and walking distance from my house

Nice short hike

hiked this trail with my 3 kids (ages 8-14yrs). we went up the Eagle Scout trail and the Nature Loop trail and came down the Ledges trail, it was a pretty easy hike and my kids loved the stone tower. it was a bit cloudy when we went but it still had great views. a hike i would recommend for really any age or skill level.

Great hike for any age dog and owner!

An easy short hike with a great view at the end.

We started the trail by following the Eagle Scout trail. There was a few steep spots and lots of big rocks to climb over but the view from the summit was worth is. We followed the loop down to the road back to the parking lot. They do ask for a $3 donation to park

Awesome! Had two young kids with me and they loved it! Especially once we got to the top and saw the stone watch tower; will definitely be doing it again :)

went there last summer and am headed back again. cool little hike.

Fantastic hike with young kids. Little bit of scrambling at the end make it even better for little ones.

Nice hike in the Lake Region area. Relatively quick trek, but there’s a nice stone fire tower with panoramic views at the summit.

It’s a nice short run with good elevation gain and irregular granite and roots. Great for a technical trail run with a few loops. Cool stone lookout tower at the top!!!

fun little place. very buggy right now. some neat shaped trees and the tower was nice you could see the presidential mountain range

Hike! Super buggy

Well worth the hike! We did this with a 2.5 year old and he loved the view at the top and the lookout tower.

Quick hike. I didnt do the full loop and just did the Ledges Trail. Was very very buggy. The entire time.

This was a quick hike but a little steep at parts. We took the orange trail up and the green trail for a quicker trip back down, both marked well. Try to ignore the flys in the parking lot because it does get better as you hike. View at the top was great!

Nice easy hike. Pleasantly surprised by the view at the top.

If you lost your cell phone on 4/13, we found it and left it by the payment kiosk

nice views of the presidential range and the lake. well marked fun hike. It states 1315 feet when at the tower but all trails states different. snow on the ground and snowing off and on.

Great mountain to hike! All different kinds of terrain. Summit is awesome and plenty of room to stretch out and have a snack!

Short hike with one steep area, we brought snowshoes but left them in the car. Trail is well marked, parking lot is not plowed.

Well worth the jaunt up this mountain and taking in the mountain ranges on top of the unique fire tower on the summit. I took the nature trail up and scout trail down. Keep your eyes peeled for the orange markings...in a couple of places it was difficult to discern where the scout trail was....recently a Cedar fell over from the wind storm about a 1/5 of the way down, blocking the trail and markings ahead. No biggie, nust something to be aware of. Enjoyable nature stroll.

Fairly easy hike. We went up the eagle scout trail. Watch out for the hornets nest on the side of the fort at the top though.

Always a fun and scenic hike.

The summit is gorgeous! Pack a lunch and bring a book to hang out up there a bit!

Quick, rigorous in places, and sweet payoff. Rocked it with my girls. Tower at summit was very popular.
