Beautiful - did three loops if it. Well maintained.

12/1/18 took my dog along with a friend and her new puppy. Puppy was only 8.5 weeks old, he did wonderfully on the dog trail following my dog who is 2yrs. Both dogs are showing they love to be together.

Great place for trail running.

Beautiful trail in the snow! The falls were amazing with ice forming all around them. I recommend yak traks though, I was wearing my winter boots and found it slippery on the wooden walk way.

beautiful views of the fort Knox and the bridge

I have always enjoyed this trail. A nice hike up along a creek between Dorr Mountain and Cadillac Mountain. You eventually come to and intersection where you can continue down the back side of the gorge Via the A Murray Young path or you can summit Door or Cadillac mountains. Nice trail to hike after there has been some rain so the creek is flowing.

Easy, well maintained walking path. There are lights along the path so it’s good for a evening walk too! Easy for a stroller or wheelchair to push on.

beautiful views of the water and woods

The trail now has nature cards placed randomly on the white trail. These should be great for kids to discover and learn. Nothing beats a hike in the fall.

Long, flat trail through Scarborough Marsh. Nice place to picnic and walk the dogs.

Very nice, clean trail. Pretty level train, nice overlooks into the marshes. No charge to park but on a busy day, I imagine there would be a wait to park!

Not very well upkeep to the trail on the wooded side. Being from out of state it was a beautiful but spent most of my time looking at the ground.

lots of hunting nearby and trail dug up by dirt bikes. had to turn around about a mile in due to recent rains making the trail impassable at thT point.

An excellent place to walk, run, and bike; cross country skiing in the winter. The trails are well-maintained. There are several benches and picnic tables along various trails, warming huts for wintertime. Woods, open field, some single-track, lots of hills, riverside trails and a boat landing. There's plenty to explore. Kid and dog friendly.

Great walk, lots of birds in the Marshes.

Great trail selection! Perfect year round.

Great views and awesome beach. We saw Mt Washington on top of the Morse Mountain covered with snow.

My favorite route to summit Cadillac. The first .5-.8 (rough estimate) is mostly flat then escalates into more of a boulder climb through the gorge before you break through the trees and finish the hike with stellar views all around Cadillac of the islands / ocean. This hike does regular basic physical strength, but whether you power through or take breaks it is a doable hike for a variety of ages. GREAT for hot and humid summer days, where you can escape the heat by hiking through the gorge then getting a great breeze at the summit. Just hiked yesterday for the first time in the fall and was even more pleasantly surprised at how enjoyable it was.

Definitely recommend taking Gorge Path to descend Cadillac Mountain - a beautiful and peaceful trail that appeared much less traveled.

It had poured the night before so many of the rocks that make up the trail were underwater, which required lots of crisscrossing from one side of the creek to the other and balancing on some very unstable rocks while trying to figure out a different path. Be prepared to get your feet wet and get creative in your navigation!

Easy, well maintained trail. They have some nice educational posts about the surrounding marshes and estuaries. I went on a weekday and it was still moderately busy, I imagine on weekends it gets crowded.

I love this trail. Nice expansive woods with varying terrain. Light foot traffic so it a good one to avoid crowds in Southern Maine.

Beautiful setting. Easy walking and super dog friendly. We enjoyed a nice quiet bit of time with nobody in sight and my dog loved having the opportunity to run in the fields!

went up stone cairn trail very steep but the views from the top were spectacular. came down stone hut trail, not well marked but easy to follow great hike

Very pretty. Easy for kiddos. I had my 22 month old walk it :) very nice bridges as well!

Loved this place! And so did my dog! It connects up with other trails. Definitely wear some good water-resistant foot gear!
