North Berwick, Maine Map

My dogs love this hike!

The map is kinda confusing. I thought it was a loop trail, but couldn’t figure out the loop from the top. Although it was a really pretty view.

Short little hike that my old dog can make it up and back down!

Great hike for beginners, families, & dogs, with just enough incline to get your blood pumping! Easy to follow trail with a cute little summit at the top that's perfect for a picnic with a beautiful view! Trail can be completed in less than 2 hours, so it's great if you wanna do a hike with limited time(:

beautiful trail. easy to navigate

Worth checking out if you're in the area. Can be done in an hour or two depending on your pace. Good for 1st timers.

Good short hike. Not great for trail running.

A good hike with an optional bit of light climbing.

Great for family's. On a clear day you can see Mount Washington.

short hike with nice views! bring lots of bug spray, I've never seen so many bugs in one place before

Beautiful trail. A bit brutal with 3 ft of crunchy, icy snow on the ground, but worth it for the views.

Currently iced over - Bring traction. There is a trail head on the sunnier south side, from Bauneg Beg Hill Rd, but has roadside parking only.

had a great time night hiking in the fresh snow.

Don't go during hunting season!!!

Just got back from walking the North Trail Loop. If you want to add some distance you can add in the Ginny and Linny trails. All in all it was a good trial, marked well, there are some spots you have to look down at the markers on the rocks to know where to go, just need to pay attention and look around. Nice trail to do with dogs and young kids.

loved the hike really nice for being right outside of sanford. the dogs loved it and the views were awesome but the trails are very poorly marked we ended up in someones back yard (on private property) at first but eventually found our way to the peak

Very rugged trail. Poorly marked. Damp, muddy forest floor. Beautiful views. 879' elevation. Will be back!

Fantastic hike, but the actual elevation is around 820'. Part of the trail is a bit steep, but a fantastic view at the top makes it well worth it!

Such a good little hike if you only have an hour or 2! Just enough incline to get your heart beating and great for dogs too! Love this place.

Great hike with family and dog .... The view is probably better when there are no leaves on the trees. A few steep spots for a good leg workout .

Pleasantly surprised! A few moderate sections but well worth it!

Did this trail months ago. The ground was still frozen and it was muddy. The difficulty is moderate. We did it with a baby (8-9months) on a carrier. Has a nice view from the top. We will try it again now in the summer.

Fun afternoon hike. Very easy.

Great little walk my boyfriend and I did before lunch one day. There are only a few trails however the area is very scenic for being just outside of Sanford. Overall I really enjoyed these trails and will be back to do it again sometime. The iPhone app directions were way off and led us far from the actual parking lot. For reliable directions visit the conservation areas website which I included.
