nice little hike in big Niagara had the falls while little Niagara had the perfect spot to stop relax and watch the falls

Nice easy hike to a scenic venue. Nice day w the kids!

Went today on a whim. Great views! Our 2.5 year old was able to navigate over half the trails on her own.

I loved this little hike. It was wet when we started out but cleared after a while and it was a lovely stroll through old growth and mossy boulders along the trail edge. The trail was pretty heavily trafficked and little obstacles to climb over. It was a nice afternoon outing and we tacked Daicey pond onto the loop as well.

It was an interesting hike, but due to lots of rain recently there were many muddy and a little difficult spots to navigate through. But not a huge issue. Very peaceful and the falls are a nice touch once you reach them.

This was a great hike to bring my one year old on. Easy trails and a great view when we stopped for lunch at the falls.

Beautiful hike in the fall to enjoy the colors of
Baxter. The waterfalls are gorgeous and you can easily find a quiet spot for lunch and to enjoy the beauty.

We drove into Millinockett, Maine from Brunswick. Early in the morning you have the road all to yourself and the highway is wide and straight. We were pretty much focused on Mt. Katahdin, as we were doing an up and over the next day. But Millinockett is a nice town, very welcoming. Didn't take many pictures until we got to the mountain, stopped by the ranger cabin and walked down to the lake to view what was ahead of us. Ate a good home-cooked meal at one of the local restaurants. Hardly slept that night knowing we had a great day ahead. Recommend a one night stay just to take in the area in Baxter State Park and do as much hiking as you want.

This is a hidden gem! It's an easy hike to Little Niagara Falls from the Daicey Pond Campground. Multiple waterfalls with pools to swim in ... So relaxing, great place to spend an afternoon!

Did this last summer with my13 year old, got caught in a thunderstorm complete with hail, he loved it. The back water was a little scary as to the smoothness of the rock and the close proximity to the falls. He planned on swimming but got a little nervous. Beautiful place!

Nice pond to paddle. Caught a few white perch

Done this trail a few times, really easy. On a hot day little Niagara is great to swim in. Definitely bring your camera, both are very scenic spots.

This is a pretty easy hike, and you get to see two beautiful falls. Take your camera (and your bug spray). There are some good shots from the huge rocks near the falls, but be careful. Also, we saw people swimming, but I can't recommend that.

This drive is best in early October. If you can't do October, come in July or August. There is beauty everywhere and lots of oportunites for hiking, biking and more.

Nice trail with two water falls Big and Little Niagra. Not as impressive as the Katahdin Stream Falls.
