Goat Trail is a lot of fun along the coast. Make sure to stop and hang out at Deep Cove. We saw a couple of harbor seals on our hike. The Duck Harbor Mountain trail is not for the faint of heart. Lots of scrambling and trail finding along the way. Great view from the top though.

Woodsy part of the trail is whatever. The part that goes right along the shore is quite nice though.

Short and sweet. The coastal trails are classic Maine. The non-coastal trails on Isle au Haut are relatively dull.

Maybe it was the heat, but this felt like more work than it should have. Some nice views on this trail.

Mostly wooded, so not much scenery to be had.

This hike was SO much fun! Loved the scramble at some points.

This was one of the best hikes our family has ever taken. A delightful mix of natural Maine greenery on the inside paths, varied terrain, and spectacular water views from the rocky shoreline. The paths are subtly well-maintained. We completed our hike in 2 hours, keeping up a good pace but stopping for many photos. If you find yourself on the island, don't miss it.

I'm biased because we got eaten alive by horseflies. But I wasn't in awe of the scenery by any means. It was just ok for me.

Tough hike but super fun! Climbed up some of the boulders like we were rock climbing which I thought was cool. I wasn't blown away by the views but it was a different landscape which was pretty neat.

Very tough, rugged hike. I wasn't blown away by it, but my boyfriend thought the ecosystems were cool and enjoyed it. I was just meh.

Awesome trail!! Connects to the beach/cliff trail. LOTS of scrambling!! Avoid when wet, very slippery.

Just fantastic. Great trail from the town dock to the campsite esp during months when the ferry doesn't run to the camp harbor

Definitely worthwhile. Great combination of wooded trails and climbing with great views. Some boulder scrambling.
