Waterfront views are awesome if you like walking along the rocks on the shore.

The large, shallow lake and surrounding wetlands are excellent habitats for waterfowl and a wide variety of birds. Over 158 species of birds have been identified in this area. Some include Tree Swallows, Canada Warblers, and Scarlett Tanagers as well as waterfowl. There are two loops with the orange loop going around the lake and a blue trail which follows a brook. You can do either loop or both depending on the time you have to spend.

Great views of Maquoit Bay.!!!

This short and pleasant family-friendly trail leads to the marshy shore of the Cousins River before it meets the Royal River to flow into Casco Bay.

great hike overall. Nice hike in snow as well.

I ate dinner on a cliff as the tide was coming in. Beautiful area with dense trees, and views of Freeport Harbor along with wildlife.

great relaxing hike!

We went 5 days after the big storm and the trails had debris but were nearly all cleared for hiking. It was beautiful, particularly the view of the bay!

So lovely to be able to walk both along the cliffs and inland. The trails were relatively easy and the views of the islands and water were refreshing. Everything is well marked and you can easily extend or shorten a hike to how you are feeling that day.

This trail was our almost 2 year old son's first "official" hike. He pretty much ran close to the entire 2.1 mile Casco Bay trail. No lie, we had to make him sit for a quick snack/water break halfway through, and there were times we had to speed up our pace to keep up. There were several small bridges to cross, some rock installations to guide runoff for melting snow in spring, and lovely scenic view spots with benches to enjoy the view for a bit. We went on the weekend, but the trail felt private most of the time. Only occasionally did we cross paths with other hikers. Wolfe's Neck Woods State Park is perfect for an easy, yet quiet hike, as an alternative to nearby Bradbury Mountain which is always bustling with people. If you want to stay close to home, but still feel like you are almost alone in the woods, this is the place for you!

Easy hike with minimal elevation increase/decrease, suitable for many skill levels. Breathtaking ocean views. This makes for a quick but lovely adventure!

My Wife and youngest daughter loved it. It is a beautiful spot, but I like a little more elevation.

Beautiful hike. Well maintained park. Dog friendly.

Beautiful park and peaceful hike along multiple trail offshoots. The bits along the water were sublime. We had a dog with us, and he loved every bit of it.

I live close by so this is my go-to park to walk my dog. Never gets boring summer or winter. Nice walks through the woods and along the shore. Regularly see osprey and occasionally a seal out in the bay.

This is one of our favorite easy, short-on-time hikes. Wooded, classic Maine coast scenes, close but not so close so that you don't feel like you got away. Easy and perfect for visitors who are not hikers. Can be busy, but never feels crowded.

Beautiful sights, including that of the resident Osprey nest. Just incredible.

it was great, the smell of the ocean and manure from the farms :) clean and easy trail, lots of chipmunks and birds.

Nicely managed trails with the ability of a quick hit of a coastal trail or trails through the woods. Easy walk in the woods.

This is a great park. There is a lot to do for families and people who just want to get out in nature. Hike trails through the woods and along the shore. Learn about local nature with the informational boards throughout the park. There is a large field for playing pass with a group or use the picnic areas that are tucked around the park for lunch or dinner. Restrooms and water fountains and trash barrels make things easier to stay for the full day. There is a great covered group setting area for group events. Short trails and relatively easy for most including pets on leash though many sections have stairs or significant exposed roots so some dexterity is needed. Beautiful in all seasons though you'll likely be snowshoeing in the winter. :)

Really pretty. Nice to see ocean and fall foliage. Did most of the trails within a couple hours. Between 4-5 miles. Pretty simple and easy "hike." Great place for kids and dogs.
