Fun snowy small hike with the pup!

We included this summit on a hike which included a couple other nearby peaks. Beautiful views and some really interesting rock formations and trails as you head down from the summit toward the road/ocean.

A great way to spend a few hours. Super-easy walk. Gorgeous views of the water.

Great winter hike with beautiful mountain views of Maine and NH! Easy to follow the trail in snow but looks to be very wet/muddy in the spring.

the puppy and I love roaming around Mt. Apatite, blue trail, red trail, we can walk them for hours. the new bike trail is beautiful too

Went for a hike 12/26/2018. Very little snow, but a lot of places with ice on the path. Not much of a view anywhere along the blue trail. Still fun to hike in the woods.

great trail network in the city...doesnt even feel like youre in portland. beautiful marsh and falls. great spot to bring a dog..
lightly trafficked. good trail running and potential skiing

The comment that dogs must be kept on leash is ridiculous. This park is basically the quintessential dog park. I take my dog there a few times a week, he loves as do I

walked blue and red trails a week ago. beautiful quarry areas. trail signs are good in some spots and not well marked in others so you have to pay attention. all in all it was a nice stroll on a beautiful winter day.

nice easy trail for dogs...beautiful pond when iced over. would xc ski herr

awful..you can hear the highway the whole time and the pond is the culumation of many culverts. smells questionable.

The trail is not marked, so I followed the footprints and ATV track with no views or any points of interest. Good walk on a quiet day though. Did hear some shootings while on the trail.

This is a new trail recently opened to the public. Once you hike a short distance the trail spits left and right. The trail has some wet area so you should wear appropriate footwear. It is a nice walk through the woods and thickets.

12/1/18 took my dog along with a friend and her new puppy. Puppy was only 8.5 weeks old, he did wonderfully on the dog trail following my dog who is 2yrs. Both dogs are showing they love to be together.

Well marked and maintained trail that is right in my back yard. Nice sturdy bridges over the wet areas. Great easy hike for kids and dogs.

This is a network of trails through fields and forest with small hills and beautiful creeks and waterfalls in high water. In the winter, the road into the playing fields is not plowed to the end however it is plowed to the first parking lot. Lots of dogs can be found with their owners while visiting this park.

the vast majority of this Trail is a flat gravel Carriage Road. We broke off the trail to the right toward the lake around 2/3 of the way through the loop. The shorts spur took us across a few boardwalks and down to a rock scramble next to the lake. We traveled approximately one mile over numerous large boulders. This added a bit of strenuous hiking to the loop. Overall, a gorgeous walk during Peak fall color.

Fun place to take the kid or dog. My son loves to play by the water so this is a great option. Not the best place if you're not a dog person. Lots of off leash dogs. I love dogs so it's not a problem. But it could be for some.

Great place for trail running.

Loved hiking this in the snow 11/17/18. First real snow fall of the season. It was a great hike.

This trail is mostly a stroll through the woods but there is a leg that follows the edge of the lake and has nice views. The trail isn’t marked very well and it’s easy to venture off the trail but be careful because there are a couple of boggy areas that will trap you in the muck and make the rest of your hike cold if you get your feet wet.

lovely autumn hike. currently a beaver dam prevents passage via loop, unless you've got waders on, but still a great hike.

great trail nice views

This was a great walk in the woods today. Myself, friend and my dog. Parked at the Witt’s end entrance(you park on the side of the road). We then walked to the next sign and Turned around. My Fitbit said the total was 5.06miles. There was snow and ice in places but all in all it was a great walk. Did spook a deer, watched it bounce away. Pretty cool.

easy hiking with beautiful views.

Not very well upkeep to the trail on the wooded side. Being from out of state it was a beautiful but spent most of my time looking at the ground.

Amazing panoramic views of the bay.
