For sure an ATV trail, no mistaking that. The one ATV we saw was driving respectively on the trail and even slowed down more and waved as he pasted by us. If you are looking for a good workout this is for you, with up and down little hills. Bring bug spray.

Directions to the trail are not very clear. You will have to park on the side of the road, on a well traveled road. The trail itself is well marked with white tree markers. Nice little stroll with the dog. All in all nice little walk.

This trail follows an old logging road which is now grown over with grass. Easy to follow although there are no trail markers. The side trail to Owl Pond is worth the side trek. Great fishing and no homes on the pond. Should be a great hike in the winter with snowshoes. Saw many mountain bike tracks.

Trail was in ok condition. You can definitely tell it is an atv trail due to rust and such. I was aware of this given that it is a snowmobile trail as well that I rode this past year. The trail in some areas does have soft sand, lots of loose rocks which can make for a somewhat of an awkward ride especially going uphill. However as I said mountain biking wise it is a decent trail.

Perfect day for cross country skiing especially on the Game Warden trail. This trail is remote enough to keep the snowmobiles away giving you peace and quiet.

FYI: We have spoken with the local ATV clubs and all agree to postpone the trails opening until 5/19/17 because of trail conditions. Foot traffic and horse traffic is allowed. No Motor vehicles until further notice. Thank You

Neighbors appear to have prepared their own blazes, a Red and a Green trail adjacent to the Mayberry Hill Preserve on the Loon Echo Land Trust that this trail is located on. This can be confusing as I found myself on THEIR Red trail, as it is well trafficked and looked like the main loop trail, while snowshoeing and ended up making the loop exceptionally longer. They could've used a different color blaze to avoid confusion... Even so, it was a nice hike even with the addition for a seasoned hiker but would be more difficult for someone expecting a quick and short loop as it should be.

mountain biking today with the dogs. did a circle trip up the pipeline trail to prohibition trail to birch trail and back to edes falls road. yes, sandy in areas and had to walk the bike but overall doable. no issues with meeting atv's and dirt bikes, you can hear them way before they are near. they are always very courteous and sometimes want to stop and see the dogs. the trails are for everyone to enjoy. just get out there!

Trail system maintained by ATV club primarily designed for ATV activities. Would not recommend as a good walking trail. We met 4 ATVs and 1 motorcycle during the hike and had to jump into the nearby brush as they came around a curve. I'm pretty sure they weren't expecting hikers on their trail system. There are better places to hike on flat land.

When my wife, daughter and I arrived on 07/29/16 to walk the trail, we asked at the lodge's front desk for directions to the trailhead. We were immediately informed that the trails were on private property and for use by lodge guests only.

Having told them that we came across a description of the Migis Lodge trail on the "AllTrails" website, they informed us that the trail we were looking for "was on private property, for lodge guests only and not for use by the general public".

When we told them that the AllTrails website never mentioned that it was not for use by the general public, and that we had driven there in the hope that we would be able to walk the trail, they gave us permission to use the trail "just this once" and even provided us with a trail map.

After crossing the wooden bridge that was posted in a picture by Alan Bourne on the AllTrails website, we were convinced that the trail we were walking was the one we were looking for and the one posted on the website.

5 minutes after crossing the bridge, we came under attack of the most voracious biting insects (mosquitos and deer flies) one could imagine. We immediately reversed direction and ran back to the comfort and safety of our car.

What a horrible experience!

took pipeline trail to cedar trail today for a loop back to edes falls rd. mud wasn't too bad! enjoy exploring this area.

Sledded this area years ago (trails are either snowmobile or ATV dedicated), but never walked it - still mostly snow and ice covered but full on mud is right around the corner! Once dried out, I will return and re-explore more trails by foot or bike. Signage is very good. As usual dogs had so much fun.

Quick, short, super easy loop...did it twice just to give the dogs a longer run...There is barbed wire on the right side of the trail just at the beginning, so be aware if your pets are off leash.

Beautiful!!!!! What else can you say about paradise? The lodge has built a trail system that connects some of the beautiful views.
