Great trails. Have gone a couple times now. Some of them are very family friendly

Well marked. Can smell both ocean and pine. Good for families but must pick up ones feet as several sections have many exposed roots.

The trails were well kept and marked. There are a lot or crossover trails but they basically all connect from what I could gather. Some parts were pretty steep but my 7 year old managed pretty well. I will definitely go again and now see you can avoid the steep sections if you choose. We wanted to see Meredith camp. Was a little bit tough to find but a passer by helped us.

Amazingly beautiful and well-kept trail. the New Green Trail loop and the Blue Trail together was fantastic. A wonderful team of volunteers was out here maintaining it on a Saturday. I was in town for a wedding and got a real sense of Eastern Maine on this Trail. The smell of fir trees and intertidal marsh was intoxicating. This is now one of my all-time favorites.

one of my new favorite spots!

Feel a bit mixed about this spot but overall the stars are for the actual trails - maintenance, scenery and diversity (some rocky spots and other fun, fast stretches great for woods running).

It is adjacent to the local landfill but the only ‘challenge’ this poses is one’s personal issue with its proximity. I didn’t notice until I heard the thousand gulls and crows as I ran over a knoll.
Otherwise you’d never know it. I do wonder how this effects the bodies of water that surround this area. It must. Something to keep in mind before letting your dog take a drink here!

Most notably....there are many, many trail intersects that are not marked and it is NOT straight forward as to which is which and who goes where. Others are very well indicated. So go and enjoy, but pay attention.

There are many nice little ID tags for the local flora along the routes ~ lovely that they did this.

And lastly...while I recommend this nice little network of Trails (great for fast, technical runs or just some meditative, Nature appreciation) and so loved visiting with my own pup, please please please Dog Parents...pick up after your pets! It was so sad to see the many ‘piles’ left behind by irresponsible people, even ON the trails:(

Did the blue trail this afternoon. Well marked and maintained. Wonderful views along the way. Bugs were not bad at all today. Will do this trail again.

The trail was very well taken care of. Very nice inlet views with interesting geology. Didn't see many birds, but in the few hours we were there we saw four deer, two raccoons and a bunch of fish jumping out of the water.
