Super small trail but totally worth it for stunning views. There are a TON of people though, so be aware of crowded conditions. Hiked: August 4, 2019

Easy trail, and easy to follow. We went at night to stargaze on the beach and check out tide pools, and it was a safe quick hike with only small flashlights. The trail is cleared well, but there are occasional lose rocks and big rocks sticking up in the middle of the trail, so if you hike at night make sure to keep your light in front of you. Not really a trail. Just getting to the lighthouse. Postcard type stuff though

too crowded for the amount of space

Made a loop with Ship Harbor Trail by walking along coast for a bit. Gorgeous! Great rock hopping !

It was a nice easy trail to end the day with. We were looking for something nearby and easy after hiking Beech Mtn and Parkman Mtn. earlier in the day and this was just perfect.

This was a great little change to see small displays of what would be undersea! Lots of large seaweed, snails, a few crabs, birds, barnacles, etc. I was told there used to be starfish and whatnot there, but we may have not seen them for seasonal reasons. The views of the water and surrounding forestry were also beautiful. The hike was VERY simple and short - perfect for toddlers or those unable to walk far! I wish they would make it more accessible as they easily could, and the view is phenomenal!

Wooded part of trail is just average. Trail gets better towards the end when you scramble the rocks along the shore.

Very walkable, but boring.

A pretty light house and rocks to climb on. I was hear about 15 years ago and there was more access to see the lighthouse. Not it’s all fenced off.

Not really a trail. Just stairs and a short path to see a lighthouse that’s not that impressive.

Fun to hike across the rocks. You will definitely see more people here then most places. Still would recommend.

Parking lot is small. We had a short wait for a spot (only car waiting). When we left the line for parking was several cars long. I wouldn’t wait more then a couple of minutes for a spot. It is a very small light station down a fairly steep paved hill to the right on the parking lot. To the left by the bathrooms is a short out and back path to some stairs (37 I think it was) that go down to rocks above the water. You can hear the bouy ringing. The fog was rolling in and islands across the way disappeared as we sat there so that was cool, but otherwise I wouldn’t bother stopping here.

Nice short out and back trail. It is flat and not paved. We saw a seal in the water off the beach. It was a little crowded . Ship Harbor trail was mouth more interesting.
