Nice easy walk through the bog

easy flat trail through really beautiful landscape!

Like a magical different planet. Holy wow

Great trail system that's well maintained! the trails are flat with the occasional small hill so this is great for families with young children.

A really relaxing walk. Something different you don’t see everywhere.

Was a nice walk but early spring so the ground was a bit wet with downed trees across path. They were in the middle of cleanup so good to know the trail is maintained.

Very easy for everyone. You can't bring your dogs on the board walk but being out in the big is a beautiful treat for all to enjoy. There are many benches along the way for those who need a rest.n

so we'll marked and easy to follow. beautiful trees and side trails.

One of my absolute favorite things in Bangor, Maine. This is the road-less-traveled in the City Forest, where only the bravest seem to venture. Clocking in at 3.8 miles round trip, this trail is great for bikers, runners and cross-country skiiers alike. Unlike the Main Loop Trail which is a gravel path, this one isn't the best for strollers (not impossible, but it's not as flat).

Was in town waiting for a flight. Trail was so great I did it twice. Very pretty. Felt very safe due to activity on the trail.

Very unique walk for this area. not something you want to do in a hurry.

Good for beginners!

Nice MTB trails along the main trail! Beginner/intermediate.

I love this walk. Bogs are unique and this bog walk offers a unique opportunity to see one up close. Thanks information stations along the way are very helpful. If you are really lucky you may get a ranger to walk with you!

Really neat to see the progression from forest to bog. Accessible to anyone and educational signs is what makes this trail really neat!

Love the view even on a cloudy day! Can get congested if there is a lot of people on the walk!

Nice walk. Birds, Lady Slippers and Pitcher Plants. Didn't know Maine had carnivorous plants.

A nice trail through the woods built by the town of Hermon Maine. The trail connects between the Elementary and High Schools. Trail can be a little muddy and buggy in the spring, but is a nice walk through the forest with abundant variety of plants and animals. It is a fairly easy, well marked trail for the whole family. Parking is available at either end of the trail.

Beautiful oasis in the middle of town. About a 5 minute walk from the parking lot. The boardwalk is accesible to everyone and is great for a family. There are placards explaining how different parts of the bog function and the wildlife and flora you will see in each part. Can be done in an hour. Be sure to walk the City Forest (3.8 miles of trails) that encompasses the bog.

Fun! Great for a stroll if you're not looking for something to strenuous. This walk actually inspired my boyfriend and my hour and a half trip to Cadillac mountain. can't wait to bring our dog:-)
