Bog Walk, Orono: gorgeous in the fall. Easy walking on planks, accessible to most. Got some beautiful fall shots of family here. Loved this little walk!

Nice trails!! Many off shoot trails that are a bit more challenging. You could go many times and not see the areas.

nice bike ride

Apparently the mosquitos don't mind the taste of death. I was covered in OFF and adding more as I walked and they still kept coming. Otherwise, an easy trail. Nothing particularly charming about it. But it was a good pit stop for me and my dog.

I biked it even though it's not really for biking. There's a few flat spots.

Dogs not allowed. Easy walk. Plaques explain flora and fauna you may see along the trail. A lot of effort went into constructing this walk. Very enjoyable.

The trails we walked were well maintained and well marked. We took our dogs and they enjoyed it as well. The only problem we had was in locating the trailhead. Our GPS took us down Killdrege road and told us we had arrived when we reached on old landfill. But continuing past the landfill takes you to a trailhead and parking area.

I am glad that I checked this area out. I always saw people walking on a path near the highway, but never knew where they started until now. I would recommend that trail, especially if you want to take your dog for a walk. However, some of the other trails could use upkeep. I wasn't always sure I was on a certain path, especially when many trees were down. Plus, be careful in certain areas where you might injury yourself from mud slides on rocks.

Trail was poorly marked, overgrown and muddy in some spots. Looks like it could be nice with a little upkeep. Still, not a bad little hike with the dogs.

This trail is maintained very well, so I do not need to constantly keep an eye out for stumps or rocks to trip over. If you want an easy walk or jog, etc., this would be a great option. Plus, if you want to challenge yourself a little, there are many side trails you can take, although you may need to share with some fat-tire bikers on a more narrow path.

Great easy trail, by the parking lot there is a chained in dog park where people get together and let their dogs off leash to play. Not very buggy other than a few black flies but it was fairly breezy so it kept them at bay. Lots of birds perfect for bird watching.

nice walk into nowhere. not very wide so no bikes or dogs is understandable.
