Wonderful trail for a sunrise hike. Aside from the summit the trail was well marked and easy to follow. Wonderful views!

There were amazing views and the trail was a lot easier then I had expected!

It's a tough hike but the trail allows rest by flattening out after the steep inclines. Start at the Schoodic Mt trail head and follow to the top. Views of the Bar Harbor Acadia Mountains are perfect. On the way down, take the Schoodic Beach trail split down to the lake then loop back to the parking area.

The trail head can be difficult to find if you aren't familiar with the area. Nice hike with beautiful views. We took the trail down to the beach before looping back up to the parking lot, a nice way to end the hike. Lots of leaves on this trail so good footwear and careful footing is essential to avoid slides.

One of my all time favorite hikes to do, especially when you include camping on Donell Pond! We hiked up from Schoodic Beach, this part of the trail is very steep in some areas, but isn't super long, maybe 1.4 miles? Once you get to the top, you'll want to stay there all day! 360 degree views of the surrounding mountains and an amazing view of frenchman bay! We hiked/ran down the other trail that leads to the parking lot, which seemed a bit longer than the hike from the beach, definitely some pretty technical parts there! It's great to make it a loop trail and incorporate Black mountain as well since it is easily accessible from the parking area.

The hardest part was finding the trail. The map at the bottom of the trail is not labeled very well so be cautious when you are hiking. The hike up is a good workout, if you are older or have little kids it could be a little difficult. It's a very pretty hike and once you get to the top you will not be let down, amazing view.

This was a great challenging hike. The size of the mountain can be deceiving, but the almost straight up hike will burn your legs. The hike at a fast pace took us right around 45 minutes, if you we're to take your time I would plan on an hour 15. Overall great hike and amazing views of Acadia.

Absolutely loved this trail. Amazing views. Glad we had help with directions from a local. It was way down a dirt road off from a back road.

Nice view of downeast Maine with Arcadia National Park as a bonus. Not a tough hike. Few spots will get the ehart beating but not a killer.
