Amazing walk overlooking the ocean. Stunning views of the ocean, boats and large homes. There are benches along the way and many beautiful photo opportunities. We followed the trail to Perkins Cove for some shopping and lunch before following it back to our car. The only con is that this is a very trafficked trail. We will definitely visit this trail again!

so we'll marked and easy to follow. beautiful trees and side trails.

One of my absolute favorite things in Bangor, Maine. This is the road-less-traveled in the City Forest, where only the bravest seem to venture. Clocking in at 3.8 miles round trip, this trail is great for bikers, runners and cross-country skiiers alike. Unlike the Main Loop Trail which is a gravel path, this one isn't the best for strollers (not impossible, but it's not as flat).

great hike overall. Nice hike in snow as well.

I ate dinner on a cliff as the tide was coming in. Beautiful area with dense trees, and views of Freeport Harbor along with wildlife.

Nice views but you won’t lack for company. Parking is horrible during peak times.

Loved the views of the marsh

great relaxing hike!

We went 5 days after the big storm and the trails had debris but were nearly all cleared for hiking. It was beautiful, particularly the view of the bay!

It's an island, so there are river views everywhere, as well as old dam and mill foundations. It's small but partly paved and a pretty spot.

Nice and easy, but if it's cloudy visibility can be seriously limited.

lovely sunrise today but very busy. The loop is nice and easy to do

This wooded trail network provides a range of trail experiences from easy, handicap accessible trails to trails of more varied terrain. If walking near the soccer fields, the trail continues off the back corner marked with a small kiosk, The trail is easy to follow and consists of a wide gravel track.

Was in town waiting for a flight. Trail was so great I did it twice. Very pretty. Felt very safe due to activity on the trail.

Kind of crowded considering the tour buses dropping off mad loads of people every hour or so. Though its better to go off the trail on your own away from the crowds and find a nice spot to sit and have lunch.

Packed gravel, may as well be paved. Amazingly flat, any bike, any rider age can ride this. Only a handful of road crossings. The marsh crossing is very scenic. Very quiet and peaceful. Mostly shady.

Walked all over this park. Great views, very little people during the week. Plenty of restrooms. A great place.

Was nice to walk the path before going out to eat. A lot of rosehips along the path at very nice. Pop out on the top of town and walk back through and find something to eat.

Great option for a long flat walk. Excellent views.

Easy walk and fantastic views

Great walk for what it is. Easy along the coast and can be more fun if you decide to go down on the rocks.

Very unique walk for this area. not something you want to do in a hurry.

Good for beginners!

Absolutely stunning sunrise view. Easy walk with gorgeous views of the ocean.

Nice MTB trails along the main trail! Beginner/intermediate.

One of the most beautiful views in the world- if you don't mind sharing it with hundreds of others at the same time. A perfect spot for photography and a nice easy stroll with family.

Too many people even though we especially scheduled our walk later in the day.
