Been going to the Gorge for years and never hiked to Hanson's Point until now. As others have said it's a fairly easy hike but the secondary trail going off 221 is tight. This is a place I would definitely recommend and look forward to visiting again.

Went with family and dog. Loved it just make sure to have good shoes with traction.

Nice easy looped hike, the trail was well maintained, and clean. It would be a little too easy/short for an experienced hiker.

Awesome sights to see fun trail to hike, definitely recommend going after a good rainy day though so the waters still up falls weren't that big when we went

Trail? Lol

VERY easy hike. I ran into a snake and a few deer but it’s nature, soooo, thats completely fine. I would definitely recommend going to the top of the hill and overlooking the lake.

Good trail for running.

Absolutely beautiful place. The creek was a pain to get too but well worth it once we got down there. The hill on the other hand to go back up can kiss my butt. I lost my water somewhere and it was a really hot day and had to keep sitting down because I thought I was going to pass out and not one person who walked by me and my son asked if I was okay. Other then that the creek was worth the hike.

Great long trail but a lot of it was slipping into the lake so it was pretty dangerous to have my 4 year old son with me at the time. Had to mission impossible it in a few places or would’ve have to turn completely around.

Loved this hike! We cobbled together the Sunset Point, River Styx Spring, and Green River Bluff trails to create a good loop. This trail has some good inclines and great overlooks of Sunset Point, the River Styx Spring, and the Green River. Also took a short detour to Dixon Cave. Saw a few deer as well.

We enjoyed kayaking and then hiking to the waterfall. Very pretty. I did unknowingly get into some poison ivy so be aware that it’s along the path to the waterfall.

Short, easy, and fun hike. The best view is climbing on top! It was amazing!

Interesting rock structures. It is a really short easy hike. The rock structures at the end are well worth the short amount of time it takes to hike to them.

Very few people at the park on a Monday morning. Beautiful trees and vegetation. Gentle, rolling hills

Unfortunately the lake was very stagnant making the views “Ok”. Did love all the water lily....made it a worthwhile hike. Unfortunately couldn’t do the full loop due to the connecting path being destroyed by storms

Really enjoyed this trail. Especially liked the beaches by the lakes, great place to stop and have a snack while enjoying the views.

nice trail with beautiful views. Close to the visitor center

Needs to be trimmed with a weedeater in places. Starting to get overgrown

Fun trail. Offers different options of you want to take shortcuts. Very wooded hike (wear your bug spray). Fun addition to a Mammoth Cave tour.

This trail was more than I expected although the fort itself leaves a little to be desired. Lots of history in this area. Many are talking about the steep hill but if you go the other way, the incline is much more gradual. Lookout of West Point is available as well as a natural spring. Saw lots of box turtles in the creekbed. Also tons of spiders, so if you don't like webs in your face, keep your eyes open lol

Easy paved trail in a beautiful setting. Well maintained with a lot of wildflowers and opportunity to see abundant wildlife. Perfect for families.

Easy trail, actually a road used to access fields around the lake , well maintained. No markers and no gps or phone signal. Very secluded and a great place to swim or fish. Many places to get in the water if you search off the beaten path a little

Nice trail for the kids to enjoy creek play. Watch out for snakes! After a heavy rain the creek is harder to navigate and you should always wear shoes you don’t mind wading in. Deep spots along cliff walls, near the back of the trail by the no trespassing sign is a nice swimming hole. Not overly strenuous but could be hard for youngsters or older folks to safely balance on some of the rocks.

We ride bikes or scooters here a couple times a week. Great, paved, family trail with easy parking. Be aware it’s not a loop!! There are lots of runners, bikes, and walkers on this trail. We’ve always felt very safe.

We do this trail frequently when we have a short amount of time to be in the area. The kids love seeing the springs in different seasons and it’s a nice, easy walk on well maintained trails.

I love this trail. As others have said, it will keep the heart rate up. It’s a clean trail with beautiful wildflowers and we’ve seen plenty of deer and other wildlife. Personally, I prefer to get the sharp ascent out of the way first, so that would be counter-clockwise on the loop.

Downed trees on path but a great trail run and beautiful view of lake.

Nice paved trail that would be good to take small children. If you want to see the actual arches of the bridge you have to hike down to the creek bottom to see it well. Lots of wildflowers even in August.

This trail gives a decent workout getting to the falls as most is uphill but not too bad of a climb. There are a lot of rocks on the first part of the trail but later gets better. The falls are nice when you get to the end you have to go back the same way you came in. Overall a nice hike.
