Nice easy looped hike, the trail was well maintained, and clean. It would be a little too easy/short for an experienced hiker.

Awesome sights to see fun trail to hike, definitely recommend going after a good rainy day though so the waters still up falls weren't that big when we went

Trail? Lol

VERY easy hike. I ran into a snake and a few deer but it’s nature, soooo, thats completely fine. I would definitely recommend going to the top of the hill and overlooking the lake.

The trail was stunning. Trees as far as the eye can see, and occasional little ponds made for a peaceful and beautiful adventure. The trails themselves were clean, and clearly marked, making it easy to navigate. I truly wish I had known about this hiking trail while I still lived in Georgetown.

However, there are a few things I wish o had known going into the hike so I could have been better prepared. First, you have to park next to a church, a ways from the trail head. To get to the trail head, you have to walk along a narrow paved road for some time, and pass conflicting signs: one claiming to be private property and the other claiming to be the trail. The trail head is past the private property sign, and once on the trail it is easier to navigate.

Also, because of the nature that is around this area, ticks are a huge problem. I was wearing tall socks and long pants, and I still had ticks everywhere on my legs. Be sure to use some type of tick repellant and check closely for ticks as soon as you arrive home.

great view at the top.

hiked this trail from the campground. It was pretty strenuous on the way up but so beautiful with so much history!

Beautiful trail!

Absolutely beautiful place. The creek was a pain to get too but well worth it once we got down there. The hill on the other hand to go back up can kiss my butt. I lost my water somewhere and it was a really hot day and had to keep sitting down because I thought I was going to pass out and not one person who walked by me and my son asked if I was okay. Other then that the creek was worth the hike.

Great long trail but a lot of it was slipping into the lake so it was pretty dangerous to have my 4 year old son with me at the time. Had to mission impossible it in a few places or would’ve have to turn completely around.

The directions here take you to a small cemetery but you can continue to drive up this gravel road to get to the actual trailhead, look for it along the right side of the road and park off in the grass. It's an easy trail with gorgeous views at the end.

Visited from out of state. Great views and fairly easy trail. It was a little busy for my liking and there was some trash but definitely a great time.

Loved this hike! We cobbled together the Sunset Point, River Styx Spring, and Green River Bluff trails to create a good loop. This trail has some good inclines and great overlooks of Sunset Point, the River Styx Spring, and the Green River. Also took a short detour to Dixon Cave. Saw a few deer as well.

We enjoyed kayaking and then hiking to the waterfall. Very pretty. I did unknowingly get into some poison ivy so be aware that it’s along the path to the waterfall.

Short, easy, and fun hike. The best view is climbing on top! It was amazing!

Interesting rock structures. It is a really short easy hike. The rock structures at the end are well worth the short amount of time it takes to hike to them.

Pretty hard hike, but so worth it! It was much fun!

Easy trail, good view.

Very few people at the park on a Monday morning. Beautiful trees and vegetation. Gentle, rolling hills

Unfortunately the lake was very stagnant making the views “Ok”. Did love all the water lily....made it a worthwhile hike. Unfortunately couldn’t do the full loop due to the connecting path being destroyed by storms

Really enjoyed this trail. Especially liked the beaches by the lakes, great place to stop and have a snack while enjoying the views.

Short walk up to rock outcrop. Not much of a view but a nice walk.

nice trail with beautiful views. Close to the visitor center

Quiet trail through most of the week although there is somtimes heavier traffic. Kid And pet friendly!

Loved this trail! The beginning is pretty steep, but definitely manageable. When you get toward the top its gets a bit difficult. My boyfriend and I brought our puppy, so he couldn’t walk the whole way up. Luckily he is only 3 lbs. so we could pass him back and forth and catapulted him down between the rocks. Definitely would not take a dog alone, but its possible with two people who are comfortable handling the dog. The view was incredible!

The trail is rated as difficult, but I thought it was easy. It wasn't difficult what so ever.

We saw mushrooms, wild berries, toads, caterpillars.

We absolutely loved this trail and the falls was amazing. The first part of the trail is blacktop till you get to the observation deck at which point you can look down to see the waterfall. We then took the dirt trail- which is not marked, you have to leave the observation deck and head back where you came from. In a short distance you will see a dirt trail to your left, not hard to find but you have to look for it. From there this will lead you down to the bottom of the falls. There are lots of big rocks you have to walk down on which was kind of tricky for us since we had our 2 and 3 yr olds in tow but was doable. At one point you will cross a wooden bridge with the creek underneath, very pretty. As you keep walking you will also pass a small cave which was pretty cool. Once at the falls you can swim at the bottom or wade in the water. Lots of large rocks and bolders. The falls is so much more beautiful in person, I wanted to stay there forever taking pictures.
We visited this trail on a Monday so we saw a total of 4 people. There is a large covered picnic pavilion and really nice bathrooms. We saw maybe 4 campsites but there could have been more. Would definitely go back if close to the area. This trail is about 45 - 50 mins from Natural Bridge State Park which is also really nice.

Well maintained and clean trail with great views at the top. Wide variety of plants and fungi along the way. A pleasant dog that lives nearby decided to join us on the hike but they are not typically permitted as it is a state nature preserve.

Great hike with a rock scramble up a crevasse then left up an other scramble to the top an on to the trail. The views will be better in the fall or when the leaves fall. But I saw no other hikers on this trail.
