Amazing trail:) was perfect weather:) a few spots were difficult to detect the trail due to leaf cover, but definitely a favorite. Awesome rock formations and lots of creek crossings too:) great time of year if your into mushrooms. Took my 11 year old dog on a leash and with about 3 breaks to soak in the creek she was good to go:) a few pretty steep sections but still a nice easy mild trail:)
We parked at Glady Trail Head and made the loop starting on the trail at that camp spot, it hooks up to the FS road to Leatherwood, came out just a few camping spots down towards the lake from Glady:)

This is why I do not care for, or trust alltrails. This is not one trail, it is five. Going clockwise, you start out on the bison way trail (from the bison way trailhead) pick up the sheltowee. Then turn onto the lost branch trail. That will take you to Osborne Bend, turn right on it to take you back to the road. Turn right on the road to get back to the car. Taking or leaving out the side trip up to tower rock.

Poison ivy was everywhere. The trail was fairly overgrown and bugs galore. Yes I'm aware there are bugs in the woods but this place has an abundance. A little trail maintenance would make this a good place to hike.

Nice little trail for hikeing. Part of trail passes by nice cliff faces and neat rock boulders. Few hills to climb but mostly level and ridgetops. Trail makes a loop, and is marked with whit Dimonds.

Nice trail for spring wildflowers. Also as Danny says below, some nice opp's for rock climbing/exploring. The problem is it is supposed to be a loop. Whatever I did, I started the hike on a paved road (CR 1030 or the road that goes to a cemetary) and ended up at a gravel road (1016) - no sign - I had no idea whether to go left or right to reconnect to the paved road where I started - if this happens to you, GO RIGHT! Soon the gravel road will pass a meadow, then go over a ford and back to the paved road.

Excellent. 35 degrees in Feb. The water was a little high on the creek crossings, and most of the small markers for it are gone. But you won't lose the trail, because it is wide enough. However, the track that is recorded here is right on. Except I went across the creek at the south end by the road to the forest service road( the actual trail). It meets back up with the track in a mile or so. A lot of horses use this trail, so it is is wide and wallowed out in places. It was very muddy, but still really enjoyed it. Also, there looks like there could be some rock climbing opportunities, halfway around.
