Backpacked part of the trail with my daughter last weekend. Beautiful forest, well-marked trail, just the right amount of challenging and the right amount of easy hiking. Very little water in streams or drainages, but you can follow some of the forest service roads to the lake to filter water. In some of the low places at the edge of inlets there’s some trash from past river floods. We had brought a couple of plastic grocery bags specifically for hauling out found trash, and quickly filled these up in one such area. I encourage other hikers to do the same. Let’s clean up our trails, guys!

Great Trail through the woods along side of a creek with some little springs.

Trees down that you have to cross, but it's a very easy walk. Lots of spiderwebs to the face, but it nice and lush with foliage.

great place to ride, specifically if you want to put some miles on a young horse. like the pig tail trail for little more challenge..

We love this trail! Well maintained, and lots of wildlife when we were there.

Walked from fenton trailhead to english hill trailhead. 2 miles out & back. Bathroom house. Nice crushed limestone trail. Few places patched up with bigger gravel. All wooded. Seen walkers, runners, & bikers. Found a geocache. Pokemon go-pokestop on each end that is on the edge of the road. Few pokemon along the way.

We go here very often. I think this is my wife's favorite trail. Wider than most trails, and dont think you'll run into any roots on this trail, it is fairly smooth except for some ruts from heavy rains

Easy rustic trail. We were the only ones on the trail and saw several deer along the way. Really enjoyed it.

This is a good trail for a quick walk or break from sitting in the car. We did it with a trail guide from the Nature Center. She did a great job keeping the kids interested and we walked away with some knowledge about the plants, animals, and history of the area.

do not try... unless they groom the trail. at one point it was probably a nice walk but went today and it is completely grow over and lost the trail less then 10 mins in. Definitely has poison ivy growing in it so we turned around and went somewhere else. cute playground and picnic area attached for activities, and lots of people were fishing but no trail to hike.

I've ridden and hiked this trail for years with my wife and would recommend it. Trailheads every couple of miles and at the Golden Pond Visitors Center make for easy access.

Decent little trail, some steep little hills and kind of muddy but good for a shorter hike.

The greenery is coming back, providing shade! Just be sure not to ride if it's rained recently, this trail tends to pool up.

Good easy trail for a quick hike. Looks like they had to clean off the trail from flooding and downed trees. Views of the lake towards the end. Wooded trail, well marked easy to follow.

Hiked from Fenton Trailhead to Golden Pond Trailhead. Well kept. Shaded. Great hike with our dog. Watch for mountain bikers.

pretty decent trail or trails. use to be a small ghost town area that was pretty neat.

Really good trail...horse riding trail so quite muddy ...but not anything hard to walk around...also trail is not marked well so def GPS ...

Well marked, but it could use some maintenance. There were several trees down on the trail.

I jogged a few miles alone today and felt very safe, stayed on the asphalt from the Sunset Inn trailhead to the bridge. Love this entire trail system and would recommend!

Trail is well marked. The section of the trail after crossing the road at the water tower becomes multi-use. Stables are located near this section of the trail.

I have been riding this trail for over 20 years. It is a fast trail with some good jumps and bigger hills to the south and quick rolling hills to the north. We love it!

A beautiful trail, often takes you along the edges of the lakes. You have it all to yourself. Seldom used. Especially in winter. Just prepare seriously for the ticks in the warm seasons.
