Absolutely beautiful place. The creek was a pain to get too but well worth it once we got down there. The hill on the other hand to go back up can kiss my butt. I lost my water somewhere and it was a really hot day and had to keep sitting down because I thought I was going to pass out and not one person who walked by me and my son asked if I was okay. Other then that the creek was worth the hike.

hiked this for the first time today with my daughter. the trail is a little grown over in some places and very open in others. starts out pretty flat for a while then came the long uphill climb. very well marked. we had a great time hiking this trail. very muddy in some spots due to horse traffic. would hike it again.

Excellent location for creeking....but as with any creek...lots of rocks and difficult footing in the stream bed. Creek is wide and filled with small fish, snakes, etc. The surrounding trail features a steep hill down into the creek valley that might be difficult for some, though my 5 and 7 year old's were able to negotiate it with no problem.

Love these trails! different options for different skill levels. perfect for getting ready for a big hike.

Great trails with many options for all skill levels. Trails heads are marked well and maps are easy to find.

Been hiking here for 25 years & it’s the only thing close to a virgin forest in this area that I’ve found. A lot of Japanese honeysuckle has grown in those 25 years which is a big negative but love the hike still after all these years.

This trail isn't too bad. The very long hill you have to go down and then back up at the end was very challenging for me, the out of shape, unseasoned hiker. Had a hard time trying to figure out which direction to go.

Trails are nice but hard to tell where you are. Didn’t see any markers.

less of a hike and more of a nice walk with some nice views of Gunpowder Creek. The hill at the trail head is a bear on the way out.

I love this trail! I’ve been coming here for years. It is clean (I only saw one cigarette butt) just wish it was a little longer!

It's a nice little hike close to home. the trail is well taken care of so if your looking for a quiet leasurely hike with some nice views try it out.

The trail is now open. I went for a hike here yesterday. The trail is fairly simple, there is one hill that requires a little effort, but overall, a very leisurely hike. Spring blooms are looking nice there, and plenty of wildlife out and about.

Great trail. Lots of hills. After a rain it would be tough.

I found this trail by accident after a failed attempt to hike Boone Cliffs (Closed). This trail is fun. Lots of elevation changes, trees, and water access. But beware- it can be VERY MUDDY. At least some of the trails are horseback-friendly so be prepared for slippery, muddy parts with the potential to fall on your butt. Neverless, this is one of my favorites.

Great for a walk but not necessarily a good hiking spot.

This is a beautiful little trail wth lots of side trails to explore the stream. We did it twice to get more mileage and loved the incline work going down the first 1/4 mile and going back up it at the end.

Because the trails were very muddy, we stayed on the paved 5k path. Nice, gentle ups and downs in a beautiful park. I was thankful to have a paved option after the rain.

This trail is had lots of ups and downs, but you don't see any houses while walking. I do not recommend taking a stroller.

Their 5K walking trail is very nice. Perfect for walking your pets. We loved it. We'll be back. If you're looking for a park with a little bit of everything, this is your place. It's perfect.
