Nice trail, lots of shade on the south.

Stopped for a run while just passing through. Variety of connecting trails and many mostly in shaded woods. No bathrooms to be found. Well maintained. Very lovely place to stop or run/hike

I hate this trail. It’s surrounded by roads with heavy traffic and could have easily been designed to avoid that. The best part is the garden on the west side.

Nice trail for shorter hikes.

We started at the trailhead in Overbrook and were initially excited for the clear, pea-gravel path amongst the shade of trees. But, within a few miles the path was very large rocks ( Apple-size gravel) and we turned back. We enjoyed a street car show in Overbrook and had our picnic under a tree...so not a complete washout but not a recommended trail.

What a gem!!! Walked this trail with my puppy off leash. She had a blast running and frolicking in the grass and little stream. Great area for runners und hikers and great upkeep. Lots to do for kids to enjoy nature. Walk in the grassy meadows or in the woods. Enjoy the scenery and rest at the benches.

Great trail with woods and open hilltops. We had a fun hike here and would definitely come here again.

A seemingly never ending trail of connectors, varying elevation, and varying textures- dirt, pavement, gravel. You can really get lost on these pathways. Check my recording for updated maps in the photos.

I adored these trails. Multiple connectors. Some paved. Some gravel. Some dirt. Check my recording for more maps. Will do again!

This trail is a good trail in most parts. It would be great to walk a segment or two. We were on mountain bike and it greats very rough in some segments. There are definitely horses that use this trail. Beware of extremely rough patches.

I love this trail. It has little hidden gems like swings, statues (on the ground and in the trees), a tree fort, an old cabin (to look AT- can’t go in), etc. Some of the small loops have some pretty steep ascents/descents. Plus, it’s right by the fruit farm and who doesn’t love a good apple cider slushee after a hike?

Started pretty cool, but warmed up pretty quick. Lots of ice & snow. Will be mud as temps warm.

35 degrees, snow over half frozen mud and a light rain falling. Just like a spring day on that AT.

Trail was great to Berryton. After that it’s overgrown and large gravel. Not pea gravel. Made it to Richland, then had my husband pick me up. Started again in Overbrook, but after 1 mile it was large gravel again. That was where I ended my ride for the day.

Some great technical areas for all difficulty levels. Awesome place close to town to get out and enjoy some nature!

Really nice for an out and back. A surprise view every now and then.

Nice wooded trails that are hard packed and clear with slight variations in elevation. Walked by train tracks never saw a lake and followed red trail on app. Did not come out where we started. Somewhat lost at end vs where we parked. Poorly marked trails which led us to the street north of Sixth street.

This is my favorite trail in Topeka. There are 4 different routes you can choose. For being close to the city you really do feel you are on a hike in nature. Plus when you get to the top of Burnetts Mound it is the highest point in Topeka, so there is an beautiful view of the city. Also if you hike later in the day you get beautiful sunsets. This is such a beautiful hike for an area that you would think wouldn't have anything nice to look at.

For Topeka and NE KS---a very decent trail. The north "half" is paved; the south "half" is packed gravel and dirt. I imagine it would be very nice to bike it in the autumn during color change.
