Great trail, went out for a short day hike today and it didn't disappoint. Beautiful bluffs over looking the lake, lot's of ups and downs. I look forward to completing the whole trail.

Creekside Trail does bring you around by the creek but you don't have the best access to the water. If you are taking dogs it may take a little agility to get them down to the water to drink and play. I recommend visiting the website and looking at the different maps to the park to see how they all work together. There are so many trails in this park that connect, are skill alternatives to each other, and run along side each other; you should consider the trails as a whole system rather than individual trails to be done one at a time.

fun trail. some parts were a little steep but manageable nothing to bad . was a very well maintained path .

This trail is awesome, and not just for the area. It has enough challenging elements to keep it from being boring. The trail crosses a main road, if you want to skip the really challenging parts then just turn around there. If you are looking for an adventure cross the road and party on. I have athletic dogs built for trails and they had a blast. Wouldn't recommend older dogs or dogs that can't jump anymore to do the highest point of the trail across the road. We had to go off leash to naviagte some parts safely so a definite no if your dog has poor recall or has not been trained in recall.

Nice place in the city. Enjoy taking my family here early in the morning. Get off the concrete and you might see some deer. Overall great city walk, we have seems snakes, owls, horses (people riding horses) and deer.

Lots of beautiful views...very well maintained.

great easy trail to take the kiddos on. a little steep at the start for their bikes but after that it is perfect!

My favorite of the 3 loops! Wildflowers are amazing in the spring/early summer!

Love all 3 of the Konza trails! The second and third loops are very sunny. They are especially beautiful in spring/early summer when there is an abundance of wildflowers!

Love the tail.

Beautiful trail. Not much shade. I would advise wearing a sun hat.

This could be a much better trail. unfortunately it has been ruined by littering. This app only shows 2.2 miles of sidewalk trail. There is actually another 5 miles of dirt trail here. I wish it had more elevation gain.

Loved this hike! Beautiful views and well marked trails. Beware though, LOTS of poison ivy and a few parts of the trails that were very wet so dress appropriately.

I would not consider it "Difficult" per se. Compared to other options in Kansas, yes perhaps it is difficult.

It is a very good Kansas hike. NO vistas b/c you're in the timber the entire time. But quite a bit of variety and enough ups and downs to keep it interesting enough.

Even though you don't need a pack, it's good to load up and get the training in.

Hiked it and camped at the campground. Fun trail, challenging in places, very easy in some. Also not well marked at a fork or two. BUT, no ticks, no mosquitoes....Yay!!!!

Beautiful hike that our whole family loves! Our four kids get excited every time we mention it. Best advice is to get there when the trail opens. We weren’t on the trail five minutes before we spotted dear grazing near the bridges.

It’s right beside a sewage treatment plant. For 1/2 of your walk all you can smell in human waste.

I should live in an area with more trails

Really a beautiful trail. Lots of sights that you won't find commonly in Kansas. Some rock climbs here and there added to the fun and brought the challenge level up a bit. Picked up a few ticks, but not that big of an issue. Only real complaint is the cow crap. It's all over the trail and in some parts is hard to avoid.

Good hike. A few bikes on trail and a few joggers. I will agree about 2/3 of the way there is a homeless encampment in the middle of trees.

I've been hiking/backpacking on this Trail for years, it was the first Trail my kids backpacked on when they were little. Hiked it from end to end today with a couple of friends, and it didn't disappoint. Wildlife sightings, beautiful views, mostly shaded. Sturdy boots highly recommended, and plenty of water is a must. (Don't depend on water sources along the trail.) Trail is very clearly marked!

This was my first moderate trail and I loved it. Never got boring and beautiful scenery. I will definatley be back!

Nice trail. A lot of different flowers and great views. At some spots it can get tricky to navigate because of missing signs.

Nice for brisk evening walk. It can get too tight at some spots. Kids need to be watched at all times.

Very nice walking trail with a lot of history along the way. Stopped at the blacksmith's shop and the park volunteer made a chain link for my son as we watched. Great people to interact with at this location

Hiked this trail 6-9-18. Hot day for June (95 degrees!). Lots of bugs swarming me the whole time, but only one bite. Overall, a decent hike with some minor elevation changes. A creek crossing, about half shaded, half exposed. A little too much gravel road for me... I felt like I was just walking through some farmer's field mostly. My phone says I walked 2.5 miles when I finished the trail... I prefer trails a bit longer (5-6 miles). The creek seemed pretty slimy...and an odor of something dead and decaying was prevalent in spots. The creek seemed more like cattle runoff (sewage) than a natural stream. But hey it was. Fairly quiet stroll away from the usual suburban "trail" of pavement and underpasses. I would hike again, maybe on a cooler day.

This trail is awesome! It has rugged terrain but it is beautiful and well kept. I didn't leave with a ton of ticks like other trails in the Flint Hills. Lots of geocaches too! I will definitely be back.

Pretty boring trails and park. I never did find an actual trail, just some asphalt paths that were very exposed to the sun almost 100% of the time.

Full of bums. Earlier this year a woman was nearly raped while running on it, and I'm sure it's not the only time. Bring pepper spray, a baseball bat, a gun, and bail money.
