I loved it! Osawatomie - Pomona.

For Topeka and NE KS---a very decent trail. The north "half" is paved; the south "half" is packed gravel and dirt. I imagine it would be very nice to bike it in the autumn during color change.

Loved it. Nice prairie scenery. Very flat, which I like for biking. Great for a little family adventure. We started at the Goddard park. It has an awesome splash pad.

One of my favorite trails! Easy bike trail with some decent climbs mixed in. Not too heavily traveled.

Very easy and pleasant trail. I would give five stars if there were trash bins at least occasionally to place waste in. Very clean despite the lack of them though!

This is a beautiful trail that crosses a number of areas of the city including railroads, ponds, bridges, ballparks, tree lined pathways, and parks. It’s a great day ride and gives you the opportunity to ride to the top of a high bluff overlooking the valley below. You’ll want to come back to ride or walk again.

I love this trail!

Great trail, haven’t explored it all just yet!

Today was a beautiful day to be out on the trail just west of Osawatomie. From here to Ottawa is awesome and great trail conditions.

Great long distance trail.
Don’t like the detour outside of Ottawa but one great trail

Love this Trail.

I definitely recommend this trail. The only downside to this path is every one mile you have to cross a busy intersection.

Gravel biking: every mile had to cross busy roads. Some required dismount due to ropes to prevent cars on path. Large and deep gravel in some places.

very easy to walk we had a toddler on a Cruz bike and stroller and we were able to do about five miles.

I love this trail. A nice mix of nature, residential neighborhoods and urban atmosphere.

Great for long bike adventures with small towns. Not great if you are looking for big hills. Some stretches of the trail are so straight you can see a mile ahead of you.

Great, well maintained rail-trail. I love it for long runs with the pup. Runs through rural Kansas countryside and through some small towns.

Very nice wide well maintained gravel trail along the old railway bed. Flat and straight. The trail does cross several busy roads so be careful as you approach. Especially if you’re running near dawn or dusk. The trail is not lighted so be sure to bring your lamp. Happy running!

Trail was closed for some type of reconstruction

Its great way to get in a long distance run.

We rode from council grove to vassar on 8/12/17. There was some work going on and small sections were closed for about the 1st 10 miles. About 1/2 mile east of hwy 75 we ran across a bunch of stickers that cause everyone to get flat tires. We walked the rest of the way to vassar. Which was our destination. Other than that, the trail was in decent condition. 51 miles 731 feet of elevation gain and 902 feet of decent.
