My favorite of the 3 loops! Wildflowers are amazing in the spring/early summer!

Love all 3 of the Konza trails! The second and third loops are very sunny. They are especially beautiful in spring/early summer when there is an abundance of wildflowers!

Beautiful trail. Not much shade. I would advise wearing a sun hat.

Beautiful hike that our whole family loves! Our four kids get excited every time we mention it. Best advice is to get there when the trail opens. We weren’t on the trail five minutes before we spotted dear grazing near the bridges.

It’s right beside a sewage treatment plant. For 1/2 of your walk all you can smell in human waste.

Great trail with loads of interesting points along the way.

Beautiful trail with stunning views! Saw buffalo at a distance and a few turkey. The kids loved even at the challenging parts, which aren’t that bad. We will be returning soon!

This is a great, medium length trail giving you some great views of the Konza Prairie

This is a beautiful trail that gives you an excellent taste of the Flint Hills and the prairie.

My husband and I hiked this on April 2. It was about 30* out, but the humidity made it feel so much colder!

This was a nice, flat walk that with nothing too remarkable to look at except for the dam.

Everything was drab and brown when we were there but I imagine it's more pleasant-looking at other times of the year.

My husband and I hiked this trail on April 2. It was 28*, but the humidity made it feel even colder. I've never felt so cold on a hike!

This trail is short and sweet. It's a wide, easy dirt path with minimal incline, and benches to sit on every few hundred feet. It'd be a perfect trail for seniors or small children.

An occasional glimpse of the lake but nothing else too spectacular as far as the view goes. A solid little walk if you're in the area but nothing worth driving out for.

fun hike for various ages.

Just walked this trail today and in some spots it was kind of hard for me and my son's but the views from the top were amazing.

Great views! I loved this run.

Great Trail. Some of the most breathtaking views I've ever seen in Kansas. Just incredible. Near the end of the trail heading back to the trailhead there is a tree that is straight out of a Tim Burton movie. Dead with wicked branches stabbing into the sky. We stood in awe and looked at it for several minutes. Hike this trail and enjoy life!

beautiful hike but difficult, at least for us. def not kid friendly unless older and most def not stroller friendly.

Beautiful nature trail system that's good for hiking and trail running. There's a nice amount of ascent and the views at the top are definitely worth it.

Beautiful hike. Not too challenging and offers a lot of great views that Kansas has to offer. Trail was clearly marked and in good condition.

Excellent training value at a conveniently close location. This loop was only about 6 miles, but I found it a nice mix of both medium- and small-hillwork. Moderately technical terrain, mostly hard doubletrack, and plenty windy when I ran it. The views were memorable, too. Good location for dedicated hill repeats (

A nice easy hike that was well marked. There was plenty to see and took about two and a half hours at a leisurely pace.

Decent hike. Well maintained trail. Autumn change of colors would be a nice time of year to hike it. Could be a decent hike for snow shoeing.

So beautiful. Second time doing the 6 mile hike and it was amazing both times.

Essentially it is a highly maintained rail trail which covers the length of the city from Anneberg Park (west) to Northview Park (east). Very kid friendly and great for walking, biking, and jogging. Also good for off road commuting. The trail ranges from packed gravel to pavement and sidewalks. Some parts of the trail will close after heavy rains, but you can go around using city streets.

Awesome trail. Lots of good views

Nice trail. Well maintained. Good open views at the top. No dogs allowed here so be aware.

Trail was nice, easy, and beautiful. However we were covered in tiny ticks afterwards. Yuck! Not wheelchair friendly.

There are actually 3 loops of 2, 4, and 6 mile lengths. Possibly the closest thing left to indigenous tall grass prairie. we live near and hike it often. PLEASE NOTE this is private Conservancy property, and research is ongoing. People have been ignoring the 3 simple rules, and there has been serious discussion about closing them. The rules are: no dogs, stay on trail, closed from sundown ti sunup.

All of linear trail is worth the time, honestly the best hiking trail in the area even if it is pretty flat. No matter where you are in town part of this trail is nearby, I'm not really sure why there are not more parts of it listed on here

Nice trail with limited views

Worth seeing at the right time of year, can be beautiful in winter if it's not too windy
