Very nice hike trails. We took in more then just the Dan Sherman trail and really enjoyed the day hiking around in the woods.

Nice easy trail with lots of prairie to see.

The weather was cool and sunny. The marsh bottoms were a little wet and muddy. Over it was a great 6 mile hike.

A really easy, paved loop around the lake. It was a nice place to bring the doggo, but be careful! I pulled a tick off him even this late in the year.

great. ride

great ride

great ride have rode several times

Easy Rail-to-Trail, paved and level. We hiked a section in the middle, going from Valeria to the South Skunk River and back. Quiet, met very few other walkers or bikers. Unfortunately it had rained heavily in recent days and weeks, so there was flooding on both sides of the trail, although the trail was elevated and dry.

Lovely trail. We were here at dusk and saw 3 deer!

Eh..... it’s a flat paved trail. It’s ok

Nice little trail. Paved, very flat, and well kept. It runs a lap around a lake that used to be a quarry, so it's not a boring walk or run. There are lots of benches to stop and rest of you're just starting to get in shape, have health issues, or just aren't as young as you used to be. Most are shaded, if you just want to stop and read a book or something. There's lots to look at. It's great as a bike trail to bring the kids to, but not so much for adults or experienced riders. It's just too flat and too short. It's a nice walk and a great jog, but a very short boring ride - UNLESS you are using it to connect the Cedar Valley Nature Trail, or city streets, to the Sac and Fox trail. As PART OF a longer ride, it's great easy section or start/end point.

Great paved bike trail with parking at the bridge in Water Works Park. When you get into Ashworth Park there is a web of dirt trails for mountain biking and hiking which I would love to explore sometime!

great little trail!

Nice trail, starting point was weird or different, by a corn field, you can park at Creekside Church and walk to the trail. Sunny trail, little shade in spots. I took the routes Iowa School for the Deaf and around the school, which was nice and shady. did 4.26 miles walking, it was really hot.

Easy ride beautiful scenery

I just walked this trail yesterday with a friend around 8:30pm it was still light out but we had to walk back in the dark it's scary at dark time can barely see who's walking our way I got to my car around 10:40pm I like looking at the the water and wildlife when I'm walking this trail it's calming

Nice walk thru historical area and then thru the prairie. Easy on/off I-80 if you’re looking for a break.

Easy walk around the lake on a wide paved path. Dogs on leash, but had fun in the lake.

Moderate is pretty accurate once you get closer to Mingo and beyond. Bondurant to that point the trail is very flat and easy.

Great trail with excellent upkeep. Easy ride, lots of places to stop every 6-8 miles. The only drawback is the gravel road crossings which get a little dicey on a road bike.

Great paved trail, easy and would be perfect for families with smaller children. Fairly heavy use, from families to to folks preparing for RAGBRAI! Great ride on the 4th of July!

Awesome trail to ride on! Connects with many other trails. Shaded, stop at Captain Roy's for food and beer. Takes you to Birdland Marina.
