A nice place for a stroll, and you can go for as far as you want on this sixty mile trail. Well shaded and well maintained. A variety of forest, farm, and city walking. It's not the best for getting away from civilization, but greenways aren't meant for that. If you need to get away for a bit without going far, this is a great option. I use it for walking, but it's great for running and biking too. In certain places (like the gorge in Richmond), you can get off the greenway for some more rugged hiking.

I really like this trail. It's 7.1 miles from Summit rd in Crown Point to what looks like the end in Griffith. It's very flat and well maintained. There is a port a potty at the mid point and several benches along the way.

Hiked the trail on a beautiful spring day. There were lots of people on the trail. Dog are welcome on the trail. The trail connects to the nearby rail trail. There were many wildflowers on the trail. There is a stream that runs along most of the trail. I saw someone fly fishing in the stream. Great family park for a moderate hike. There is some elevation to get down to the trails. You will have to take a ramp or stairs to get down. There are a total of 6 trails.

Trail is 12 miles between Amo and its westward terminus near Greencastle. The portion within Hendricks County is currently being paved in asphalt and the Putnam County section is crushed gravel. The trail inside Putnam County does not have much tree canopy and is fairly exposed.
