Lovely surprise close to hotel, for a quick 2 miles before hitting the road. Will def return for a long run!

I like this trail for walking, running or mountain biking. A couple miles out m, it turns to gravel so I’m not sure I do any road biking. Country views once you get a little bit out of town.

Point-to-point path that connects downtown Kokomo into some of the neighborhoods on the south end of town. There are newer developments that are slowly starting to pop-up on or near the trail. Humane Society has recently relocated just off the trail as an example.

Currently connects Northern Kokomo to Rochester with stops along the way. Old converted rail line that has been paved and used commonly by bikers and joggers. Nice country side views of Howard and Miami counties.

Wonderful, beautiful trail! Great for biking and walking/running and is flat. It is well maintained and the scenery is just beautiful, especially in the Fall!

In need of maintenance. The rustic staircase in washed out with no railings and some signs are down. It was flooded today due to yesterday's rain and trail 2 was not passable. Not much elevation change but pretty rooted. I would love to go back when some maintenance has been a done.

The best place to run in Lebanon; however, there were no water fountains along the trail, so it’s not a good place to get a long run in unless you have some type of hydration pack.

A paved section of the Vandalia Rail Trail System. Relatively flat trail maintained by Plainfied Parks Dept. Several access points along the trail. A small parking lot at the east end of the trail. Alternative starting point would be at Franklin Park which has more ample parking, it is also the approximate midpoint of the trail.

I started the trail from Lebanon.

The rural views start after at least half a mile past the trailhead parking lot in Lebanon (near the I-65 overpass). Until then, there is too much traffic noise from 65 and city streets. Not too many trees or shade until then either. For this reason, it would be better for running or biking.

I love this trail for biking, jogging and walking the dog. Very clean with both wooded and open areas. At one of the clearings, there are restrooms, a covered area with a picnic table, and a water fountain. Also, this area has a bridge that leads to a small playground. So far, one of my favorite paved trails in the area.

Nice short trail with the majority of the hike under tree canopy. Cleary marked and saw deer on Trail 5. Stairs leading down to the start of the hike were a little shaky, but otherwise a nice quick easy hike.

I lived on this trail for 8 years at the 56th St location. Excellent running trail and much of it shaded. I remember there was crime issues at times but never felt unsafe on the trail. Great trail to train for a half or marathon.

Great little getaway for an hour during lunch if you work nearby.

Love this greenway. I have rode it many times on my bike. Will be taking my daughter along this year and getting her off those training wheels.

Love biking from downtown to broadripple.

Great trail. I love the eastern addition

Very nice paved trail along White River. It is only 1.5 miles from Potter's bridge to Field Drive which would make it only 3 miles out and back. Not sure how this became rated as a 6.8 mile trail. There are quite a few benches to sit and rest. There is a mile marker every 1/4 mile.

Ok, but it is a small loop. Some houses on the edges.

A paved trail that follows the eastern bank of the White River. The covered bridge that spans the White River was opened in 1871. Parts of the trail are built on what used to be the Interurban Rail Line. The trail is dotted with several old sycamore trees.

Easy walk to do with kids; not all trails have stroller access even if you're using a jogging stroller

A nice place for a stroll, and you can go for as far as you want on this sixty mile trail. Well shaded and well maintained. A variety of forest, farm, and city walking. It's not the best for getting away from civilization, but greenways aren't meant for that. If you need to get away for a bit without going far, this is a great option. I use it for walking, but it's great for running and biking too. In certain places (like the gorge in Richmond), you can get off the greenway for some more rugged hiking.

was great
