Nice little loop trail. Fairly easy hike. Perfect distance for a quick hike in the woods.

Moderately easy trail, good for getting out and close to the city. Some areas can get muddy so don’t bring your new kicks.

Well maintained

Well marked trails. Moderately trafficked. Short looping walk through a lightly wooded area that circles a small pond. Preseve is fenced in on 2-3 sides with a barb wired fence which takes a way from the otherwise beautiful scenery. Nice spot in the middle of the city that is hiding in plain sight.

Great hike with kids! A little oasis. We don’t go often in the summer, though, because the mosquitos are horrendous. Otherwise, the hike is nice and easy and entertaining for families.

I agree I would not call this trail moderate. It should be easy. One hill with steps doesn’t qualify it as moderate for me. I like being “off road”

Nice hike but a lot of it was on asphalt which was a downer. I liked the woods portion.

Great little hike. Saw 3 deer today.

Nice trail overall. Other than the long uphill stairs and one other short section, the trail was not too difficult and mostly flat or slight inclines/declines. My wife and I started from Ogle Parking Lot and hiked in a counterclockwise direction. We were about 1 week past prime fall colors, but still beautiful as the Beech Trees and occasional Maple were beautiful. The trail map provided at the gates are not drawn to scale or at least not that great to rely on in regard to how close you are to a road, etc. The rail actually goes right next to Hesitation Point and the main road whereas on the trail map provided, it is not that close. Trail markings were mostly good. Also, it appears unless you hike out and back to the West Overlook, the trail is closer to 3.2 miles than 3.5 miles. We will hike again in the future.

Loved this trail. Different types of settings all during one trail.

This one mile loop paved trail is nestled in the beautiful forest and also crosses over a creek. Well maintained and a little hilly but not too difficult.

Great for trail running very well maintained park! I suggest getting a season pass in the begging of summer for $50. Parking is usually $5 per car so be cautious of that!

First time in Fort Harrison. First time using this app. Enjoyed both. Chipmunks and squirrels and deer, oh my!

One of my fave hikes in the state park. Not generally very busy and a nice place to go on a hike to escape the city life for a bit.

Beautiful nature park with lovely trails! The trails were well maintained but branched off in many directions. Saw all kinds of wildlife and the Fall colors were just beautiful! I saw that it was also for bikes so I’m excited to do some mountain biking there as well!

Wonderful, beautiful trail! Great for biking and walking/running and is flat. It is well maintained and the scenery is just beautiful, especially in the Fall!

This is a fun trail. There are historical sites on this hike. Which are nice to see. Some of the trail is hard to follow but you will find your way. This is a easy trail to do which is mostly flat.

Hiked the lower portion of this trail starting at Fort Ouiatenon park. Trail begins at Fort parking lot. This was the only public access I saw on 2 mi lower portion I hiked. First 1/2 mi of trail heading North was paved bike path running right alongside South River road. The trail then turns into the woods and runs alongside the Wabash river. Trail here was dirt and sand, sometimes like walking on a beach. It was moist (but not muddy) even though it hadn't rained for at least a week. Imagine it's muddy in rainy seasons. Trail is fairly level and well marked. Scenery is unremarkable, mostly trees and very tall weeds. Occasional views of the river but usually the river is hidden behind tall weeds. Perhaps it would be more visible in early spring or winter. It was a little buggy, but not unpleasant.

Best trail in the park, but it is longer than 5.0, closer to 6.5. Also pay attention because there are some side trails marked red that are like detours. You won’t get lost, but they can confuse you and add a little distance as well. Enjoy

Loved the trail. Be advised, though, they CLOSE close the park AT 8pm and if you aren’t out by then, you WILL be locked in until someone deigns to come let you out.

Love it's convenience and location. Great for walking or running, just make sure to pay attention to bikers.

This trail does not stay stagnant for long. Stairs, bridges, hills all come at you randomly. The highway and a railroad are nearby so those sounds are mixed in with nature.

My husband and I hiked Camp Creek Trail yesterday with our two dogs. We had a great time! we dont care for asphalt trails but aren't quiet ready for a "difficult" trail yet. This trail had some steeper inclines and spots that were pretty narrow with drop offs right on the other side. It deffinitly was great for giving that backcountry feel but still on a dirt path. We only past one other couple and 3 deer.

nice trails. very well marked. A little sad the extra loop was still closed. I would say more toward easy with a few moderate areas. Some beautiful birds!

Lots of trails to choose from.

beautiful park, but the trails are not marked very well
