great app

We stopped here for a lunch break and to stretch our legs on a drive across Indiana. Lovely spot for a nice walk. A few mosquitoes but enough to drive us away. No picnic tables, so we just found a dry spot to sit on the ground.

Popular spot for field trips if you grew up in Indiana. Fox Island features Indiana's beautiful wetlands and wildlife, with a very friendly and informative staff. Great place for picnics and beautiful walks.

Very convenient place to go for a nice walk near the Fort Wayne Children's Zoo, or enjoy a nice trail run. Surprisingly quiet, the most noise I usually hear is the whistle from the train that circles the lake, which always puts a smile on my face.

This trail stays too wet to mow till late June, so plan on hiking through water. When unmowed, it’s hard to follow and stay on the trail.
It does go through the center of the marsh and once off the towpath, it seems like you are out in the middle of a huge wetland.
Lots of cool flowers, trees (on the small size) and birds to see.
A short easy hike.

beautiful park. watch north side right now... trails turn into dead end into swamp. bug spray is necessary. you can adjust and take upper dune or lower dune trails instead

Bring bug spray...mosquitos like this park. Nice ravines, streams, ponds. Good to have the GPS trail map b/c lots of trails interconnect... lots of choices...all choices seem good, but good to know where you are so u can stay roughly on the right path.

nice very nice

me gusta estar y correr con la naturalesa y repirar el oxigeno linpio me encanta

wildlife sounds and sights were awesome. northern loop is barely there...seemed to be more of reeds pushed down by a 4wheel drive vehicle. (and ended up taking me way northwest through swamp, ankle deep water and muck, until finally met up with power line trail). southern loop of this hike is good, level gravel and mowed ground. When I did this loop at 7am, I saw lots of deer including a huge buck. lots of snowy egrets and blue herons too.

loud highway noise to start (runs parallel to I69). once you turn from the highway, lots of birds can be seen and heard! even saw 2 swans. lots of wildflowers and butterflies. muddy trail in some parts.

This was my first time really hiking and I loved it here! There are so many trails and so much to see! I will need to go back several times to see it all.

Awesome park ! Wonderful nature but only downfall is the bugs are out terribly! Make sure you bring bug spray!

Beautiful area with a wide range of trails. Fun for all skill levels. Had a blast

Good trail to see wildlife

This place was very pretty. I imagine it is what people think of when they think of going on a hike. Very beautiful tonight at sunset. :)

Parts of Eagle Marsh require boots or chest high waders unless hiked when the marsh is totally frozen over. Beautiful in the winter. VERY water logged in the spring and summer.

nice little after after dinner walk

Not a bad hike. I did find the sign posts confusing and any online maps didn't seem to match up with the actual trails. Unfortunately I did see a lot of trash wherever there was water.

short easy trails make this a good place for a leisurely afternoon hike. The dog area that gives dogs access to the pond is the real highlight to this well maintained nature preserve.

I've only been to this trail once, but I loved walking in and seeing a dog unleashed flying into the lake for his ball. Need more places to take dogs and allow them to be free since not all of us live in the country. The trails are pretty easy and short, which is a good thing I guess to some people.
