Fishers, Indiana Map

I really loved this place. There is an Osborn pioneer family grave site here and different types of trails from wooded, grassy, and swampy areas. However, when I have gone the swamp and creek trails theywere dried up quite a bit so make sure to go during the wet season if you would like to see more water scenery. Maps and trails are incredibly easy to follow.

Fun for a short get away to the woods, plus it’s free!!

This nature preserve is amazingly beautiful! The most beautiful trail is the Beech Hollow trail loop. Lots of birds and I even saw a deer my last time!

Shhhh. Keep this little oasis in the city a secret!

Perfect place for a peaceful walk in the woods.

Great place to take younger kids! We took our dog and 6yo and had a great afternoon. Places to eat if you want to bring lunch, and a nice area to bird watch. The whole family loved it!

In from out of town, 2nd closest nature area to the hotel. A scenic area with some elevation change. Wetlands mixed with woods. A creek running through to a small river, a pioneer cemetery and a possible Native American trail marker tree sighting included in your perimeter hike.

I have a 6 and 12 year old and the trail is easy enough for my youngest. We have also had Cub Scout meetings at this park. Fun park makes for a good stroll.

my dog got something weird in his foot, but other than that good hike. there is a very small pioneer cemetery.

A number of trails that intersect with one another. Some are forested trails, others are open grass trails. There is a restored wetland area also a swamp area. However they are both dried up due to the lack of rain in central Indiana. Historic site is the pioneer Osborn family cemetery. A designated state nature preserve.
