Bonneyville Mills, Indiana Map

My brother and I hiked about 3 miles. We started in the main parking lot closest to the Mill and than looked at the beautiful waterfall. We were unable to hike the trail closest to the waterfall because it was covered in complete mud! If you cross CR 31 there are back trails that will end you up to CR 8 and you can enter Briar Patch Shelter and hike the rest of the park. I think the trails are easy and it feels safe!

This was a nice quick hike that’s near by, but not spectacular.

Bonneyville Mill has bike trails as well as the main 1.0 mile trail that is shown on this App. The highlights of the location include a 3 story lookout and two small waterfalls. The area has always felt safe to me and the area is really quite lovely. I edged up hiking about 2.8 miles and only ran into one other person who was jogging the trails while I was there. There are several bathroom facilities on the park grounds and more than ample parking. This is a very pretty place to enjoy the outdoors.

If you are a MTB newbie look no further. This place is perfect to learn the basics. It has smooth hard pack, rocks, sand, roots, small hills, small jumps, and small bolder section. Went on a Sunday and it wasn’t busy.

Took my 3 boys on the south loop. 3, 8, 10 they did great! The lookout tower was a fun stop on the trail. We all had plenty of energy to see the waterfalls and the mill afterwards. Will definitely come back through the seasons!

This trail is criss-crossed with mountain biking trails, and the signage does a poor job denoting the South Loop from the bike trails. The rolling hills here are somewhat scenic, but nothing to write home about.
