Nice chill walk

More of an urban trail with paved walked ways etc. but still very nice and relaxing, could do without all the construction noises though. Kids (9/7/3) got a kick out of it.

Beautiful scenery with the lake. The trail needs work. As we approached the top corner of the lake the trail basically disappeared, so we made our way back having got a total of 1.4 miles from start to finish.

I find reviews here confusing. The Clear Creek Trail (paved) and the Rail Trail (unpaved) are not the same thing, though they intersect. And neither is anywhere near Bryan Park!

Not a bad hike, but definitely a very easy hike. I'm not sure why it's rated as moderate. Nice for an afternoon/evening hike.

Great flat paved trail for running, walking or biking that goes through some pretty landscape.

Nice trail when it’s not busy. Go on a weekday if you can. Parking can get tricky on nice days.

Nice views of the reservoir, especially from the Weir Trail across the street from the small IU parking lot. The spur that goes down to the water is particularly pretty.

Great trail. Copperhead are pretty prominent in the area though. Our dog did get bit and the vet said he usually gets loads of bite wounds from the Griffy area. Snakes are always a possibility so be careful.

Well-maintained and well-marked. Griffy Creek Trail (C), and Lanam Trail (L) continue beyond the nature preserve's boundaries. Griffy Creek Trail parallels a dry stream bed that offers geodes, fossils, and a chance to meet some turtles.

beautiful views, some down trees. no big deal. some difficult spots, great hike. I did mine when the sun was rising, amazing.

It was a nice trail. We completed the 3.3 mile round trip with our 4 year old, 3 year old and 4 month old. Some parts were really in need of repair, they have been almost completely washed out. That said, the trail was beautiful and it was nice to have picnic tables by the lake for lunch before heading back on the trail for the trip back.

Great lunch break but needs some cleaning.

it is an all paved trail, great for skating, biking, etc. I prefer a rough terrain over paved though.

Griffy Creek trail is a nice flat trail run, though there are a few places where you just hop the (shallow) creek. RT from parking lot to end of trail is just over 5k

Perfect trail for a family bike ride or a jog.

Good trails but not well marked. Very glad for app GPS!

Did both the North Shore Trail and Loop. Both were very exciting and fun, with a lot of altitude changes and great views. Although the trail is not marked well at all, the path is pretty cleared out so you can find your way through. So many nice spots to sit next to the water. Definitely recommend this one for avid hikers!

This is a really nice trail for an easy hike . It has benches, a drinking fountain , garbage cans and bags for doggie waste . It is all paved and has several bird feeders along the way . It was excellent to bird watch lots of birds everywhere . It did not have a bathroom along the four mile route just an FYI. The trail was marked well for mile markers, turns, roads, and stops. It had a fair amount of walkers and bikers and felt very safe to walk alone . Overall , this was a lovely little trail !

Very beautiful trails with awesome info signs and sights! Besides it being muddy, it was an enjoyable loop. Definitely recommend

Trail was not very well marked, and we were confused a lot about where to go - but in the end it was a good, solid hike. Should be rated "moderate" in my opinion, there were a lot of slippery, steep hills and even a rock face we weren't sure how to get around. Very pretty, though - I will be doing it again now that I know the route!

Me, my wife and 4 children enjoyed our time there (on foot). Lots of small loops and connectors for the children to explore. We had it all to ourselves on a Saturday.

Nice trail but the best thing about this spot is kayak rentals. Nice bird watching. A fun place to go but crowded on nice summer days.
