A great place to spend the day, no matter the season, to enjoy this gorgeous Indiana landscape. There's tons to do here for everyone; history, hiking, swimming, fishing, boating, wildlife viewing, camping. This place is beautifully forested, so as I said, any time of year is great to see. The leaves turn brilliant shades in the fall which reflect beautifully off the water. In winter, snow covers the rolling hills and the lakes freeze, making it a winter wonderland. In spring, Indiana wildflowers pop up all along the trails to be enjoyed (I've heard morells are great here too, but shhhh...). In the summertime, there's plenty of opportunities to cool off, be it in the shaded forests or in the lakes themselves.
