Great mid-distance trail. I recommend not going after a recent rain as you have to cross a creek several times. I also recommend using your trail app as there were a couple other trails that intersected and shared this trail and which Y or tangent to take was a bit confusing. At the start of the trail heading north is a small outer arc that you can take which added some distance and got us off the horse trail for a bit. The River to River trail shared a leg of this trail which I always enjoy being a part of that trail. We only saw two other hikers which I enjoy as we like to let our dogs off their leashes. No magnificent vistas but a beautiful trail none the less. We look forward to doing it again in the winter when their isn’t any foliage. The terrain plus the length was a bit tiring.
