First, this is a horse trail. Watch where you step! Also be aware and give them a wide berth. If you’re good with that, this is a fun short hike.

Several larger ponds and lots of woods make this a scenic hike. Tons of wildlife here and if you walk back into the woods a little, sit down on a log, and be still, you’ll be rewarded with an abundance of animal activity.

I wouldn’t come here after rain as it would quite muddy. It opens early, so if you like a sunrise hike, this is a great place. Don’t leave anything of value in your car. Parking is secluded and not great and signs warn of keeping your valuables with you. That said, I wouldn’t avoid this place due to safety. It’s really nice!

Great place to fish. Clean lakes and a great museum

Paved path great for walking a dog or biking. Not much traffic which makes it a nice getaway for an afternoon. Saw quite a few deer, too.

Beautiful all year round!

It’s great except there are barely any trash cans along the way. So if your dog poops and you’re a decent human who picks it up, you’ll be carrying that poo bag with you on your journey for quite a while.

lots of bikes. took our dogs and found a trail that was quiet andd woodsy. dogs loved it. main entrance was very busy and lots of bikes. my dogs hate bikes

Enjoy the inside trails. They are so much fun and very scenic.

We spend an amazing Sunday. Great super easy track with a pinch of technology.

Excellent trails lots of friendly runners!

Very nice 3.3 mile walk/hike. Trail starts and ends with pavement for 0.5 miles. Rest of the trail is dirt/gravel. Just over a mile of the trail winds around the eastern side of Mallard Lake. A few nice places to rest or take pictures. Def will be adding this trail to my local hikes.

Nice hike, rode bikes around lake on the roads also. Launched kayaks and paddled around the lake too. Camped at campground

Good little trail system. Extremely short and not technical. It is a great system when the other trail systems in the area are closed.

Nice for running and light dog walks

Amazing scenery and good
Place for fishing and running too! Love the geese!

Not bad but some areas can be noisy due to traffic.

Part of the trail and the creek crossing is washed out or away, it’s hard to tell really. Me and my dog found a way around but it wasn’t easy. The human elements, bridges and crossing, could use a lot of maintenance. It was so bad, some were hard to find or figure out where they were going and my dogs leg got stuck in a broken bridge. Other than that and it being super muddy, who would have thought that’s what happens when it rains :P, it was really pretty out there. It’s definitely an urban nature interface but still nice.

A great hike for a beautiful winter day. Trails go through both open mildly hilly woodlands and flatter prairie-ish areas. Trails nicely groomed for cross-country skiing.

Excellent course. Tough hills, single track, and heated bathrooms. 3.5 mile loops and excellent terrain!

Very nice walking and jogging
