Nice trail to bike with the family. Pretty heavily trafficked. The inner trail features an exercise loop with several fun obstacles.

A unique trail around Chicago - dirt paths with many scenic views and room to explore. Feels like you are alone in the middle of the woods, especially around the pond. The kids found a baby turtle, frogs, and many interesting bugs. Well worth your time.

Great trail

Sunny today. Worth it.

Excellent hike. No masks when outdoors. And far as we know, didn’t catch us no cooties. Beautiful day to be alive in the neighborhood.

it wasn't really groomed, hard to tell where the trail actually was. fun but not easy

Really good trail. Easy to walk and perfect if you like to walk by water. We thoroughly enjoyed it.

Perfect for the family all year round. Good for bikes

It's a nice park for the dogs. The entrance fee is a little much.

A good portion of this trail is currently closed to dogs due to overly aggressive coyotes so we have to turn around.

I only ran down about 1.5 miles before turning back for the distance I was going for, but this trail is a wonderful surprise right down the way from where I live! it's a crushed gravel path for the most part that sidelined marshy areas, the river, and patches of wildflowers. also came across a few sports fields near the trail as well. I imagine that it might be a different story during a moderate rain, it even with some showers that morning the path was perfectly fine for running on.

I got ticks while hiking near the sled hill.

Nice flat loop around a good looking lake. Exposed to sun throughout trail. Has Access to des planes river trail.

The trail shown goes from gravel to grass so keep an eye out for when to take the left into the grass trail. If you follow the gravel trail it leads across Casey road and there are limited signs of where to go.
